3. Public Hearing on Sale of Kennel-Aire: Mark closed the EDA meeting and opened the public hearing for the sale of Kennel-Aire to Future Growth (Balzer) at 12:06pm for the purchase price of $135,560.00. The closing date is set for November 1st. There were no objections in person or in writing. Public hearing was closed at 12:07. [Jerry arrived at 12:08] A motion was made and seconded by Vern and Steve to approve the sale as presented. Motion carried.

4. Consent Agenda. An additional bill came in for vinyl installation at Heritage Estates in the sum of $175.00. Motion made and seconded by Steve and Vern to approve the consent agenda with the additional bill. Carried.

5. Eventide Suites Building: Tim Swoboda talked about the options for the old building. Tim also thanked the EDA for helping facilitate the new assisted living project. He stated that the Good Sam needs to decide what to do with the old building. The corporate office has donated buildings in the past but he stated that if we are interested in partnering with the Good Sam we should put a proposal together to present to the corporate office. The new building should be available by spring move-in at this time. House of Hope is currently not willing to move to Mt. Lake but that could change. There is also another interested party but they are not willing to go public yet. The board discussed several ideas on how the EDA could help whoever wanted the building. More information is needed before a decision can be made on how we help. The construction committee will work on this project. 6. EDA Advisor Board: We need to find more advisors-Brad Hanson has declined at this time. Vern suggested a minority. Rob will ask Bruce from King Eggroll and Deb will ask around too. No action.

7. Lakeview Estates Lots: There was discussion on how to market these lots. Currently the lots are free and we pay ½ the assessments. Do we want to offer to pay all assessments on lots that a new house is constructed? The board will revisit this as needed.

8. General Discussion: a. Next Regular Board Meeting is November 9th, 2012.

b. Other. There was no other business to discuss.
