Wednesday, March 20 Ultimate Frisbee Club will have a meeting in the chorus room. We will also have a game Friday, March 22nd, at Piney Grove Elementary. Bring $5.00 dues if not yet paid!! Rock and Metal Club will meet right after school in the band room. State Convention registration for Latin Club members is due by today to Mrs. Branch. The cost for convention is $20 and checks may be made payable to the school. The Strategy Club will meet today from 3:45-5:00pm in room 604.
Thursday, March 21 Jr. Deans will meet today at 3:45 in room 401. Anime Club - There will be a short Anime Club meeting today after school in room P16. Outdoor Pursuits will meet TODAY right after school in Room 1010.
Friday, March 22 Every Friday 8:15-8:50 there will be a “Campus Awakening” in the auditorium - a time of worship and prayer. Bring your prayer requests and come out for an amazing time.
Interior Design 2 students are raffling 4 beautiful Easter baskets! Tickets are $2.00 each and may be purchased from any design 2 student or Ms. Carrigan in Room 706. Buy some tickets and thanks for supporting our Interior Design program!
Guidance Notes An updated Scholarship Newsletter is posted to the Guidance webpage and hard copies are available in our office. If you are interested in gaining some leadership, business, math, science, gap year or volunteer experience this summer; check out our newest Enrichment Newsletter which is now posted on our website. There are many new items including information on Tarheel Boys’ State, Ronald McDonald House volunteers, the Kernersville Rotary Youth Leadership Program, the NC A & T Transportation Program and more! EAST PROM - April 20, 2013 Free Prom Dresses are now available on a first come, first serve basis in POD 26 at the Elegant Eagle Dress Shop. Please feel free to come and shop for that perfect dress for that magical night!!! Dresses are available before and after school, as well as during all three lunches. The Elegant Eagle is also accepting donations of gently used dresses. For more information - see Mrs. Cornatzer-Williams in POD 26. Also be sure to check the prom cubby in the main office lobby for discounts from area businesses! “Donate to Educate”: Goodwill Trailor will be on campus until March 26th. Donations will be accepted 30 minutes before and 30 minutes after school daily.
Key Club is collecting aluminum cans as part of the Great American Can Roundup. Bring your rinsed and clean aluminum drink cans to Mrs. Valdes (1103) or Ms. Ferris (1106) between now and April 22.
Need help in Math? The Math Honor Society runs a peer tutoring program before and after school on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8:15-8:45am and 3:45-4:15pm in Room 307. They can help all levels and no appointment is necessary!!!
Leo Club is still collecting used eyeglasses. Please bring yours in to the main office or Pod 26. Help give someone the gift of sight who couldn’t otherwise afford it!!!
