CITY OF ALBUQUERQUE REGULAR MUNICIPAL ELECTION CERTIFICATE OF CANVASS November 7, 2003

We, the Municipal Canvass Board, made up of Judy N. Chavez, the duly appointed and qualified City Clerk of the City of Albuquerque, New Mexico, and Judith Nakamura, Metropolitan Court Judge, hereby certify that on the 28th day of October, 2003, the Office of the City Clerk conducted the Regular Municipal Election. The purpose of the election was to vote for the purpose of electing, four (4) City Councillors, ten (10) General Obligation Bond questions, and one (1) Proposition Concerning the Imposition of a Quarter of One Percent Public Safety Gross Receipts Tax, the election returns from said election were canvassed by the Municipal Canvassing Board Pursuant to Section 3-8-53, N.M.S.A. 1978 (1999 Supp.), on October 28, 2003. The results are as follows:

I further certify that from said canvass we ascertained the candidates elected as follows:

We further certify that from said canvass, we ascertained that the Proposition Concerning the Imposition of a Quarter of One Percent Public Safety Gross Receipts Tax passed.

We further certify that from said canvass, we ascertained that the General Obligation Bond Questions One (1), Two (2), Three (3), Four (4), Five (5), Six (6), Eight (8), Nine (9) and Ten (10) passed. We further certify that from said canvass, we ascertained that the General Obligation Bond Question Seven (7) did not pass.

The total number of registered voters eligible to vote in the Regular Municipal Election, October 28, 2003 was 231,321. The total number of voters was 52,558, resulting in a twenty three percent (23%) turnout.
