The University of California, Los Angeles Extension Programs offers a Certificate in Homeland Security and Emergency Management. The program provides the core knowledge and skills essential for leaders in today’s world of emergency planning, security, protection, emergency response and prepares students for jobs expected to remain in demand. The Certificate prepares candidates for management and supervisory positions within this high growth industry.

Homeland Security and Emergency Management prepares professionals to lead security, protection and recovery identification and planning; resource management pre-disaster risk mitigation; post-disaster recovery, and ‘best practices’ for protecting people, especially employees, and assets.
