October 10, 3pm Policy Meeting Meeting with Minister Jimmy Dennihan and officials from the Department of Arts, Heritage and the Gaeltacht Affairs about to address inequality in the arts in policies and programmes that address poverty inequality in State arts and cultural provision. [Invitation only]

October 8, 2012 from 9.30-12.30 Show and Tell HP¹ A celebration of the work done by Family Resource Centres participating in the test phase of HP1 in 2012. Location: Peoples Resource Centre, Kells, Co.Meath

October 10, 2012, 10.30am Roundtable HP¹ to HP2 A review and exploration of the next phase of Happy Parent Initaitve with Family Resource Centres. Location: Outreach Centre, Priorswood, Dublin 17

October 16/17 October Study visit The theme is to re-thinking community art work focused on cultural rights and we will visit community projects taking place during Liverpool Biennial Location: Liverpool

4-7 November, 2012 Project work City (Re)Searches is a four day public listening exercise in Cork City led by an international group of 10 community arts/activists focused on the arts and cultural lives of families and poor communities. Location: Cork City

26-27 November, 2012 Conversation We want to explore the visibility of social inclusion in the work of Arts Offices and we have sent a proposal which is currently being considered by the Association of Local Authority Arts Officers Location: Thurles (TBC)

November 2012 Story Bud – Northside Shopping Centre The idea of seeding new projects is an important programming strand and is open to expressions of interest.
