Let’s walk the walk with Iggy! Register today for the Mission in Motion Challenge

Get ready to lace up your sneakers, pull out your paddleboard or go take a hike! Registration is open for the 2016 Mission in Motion Challenge. All walkers will combine their steps and walk the pilgrimage route of St. Ignatius! The challenge will continue for one month. Every step counts: steps on your walks at lunch, after work or on weekends, steps while you work out or mow the lawn. You’ll be able to log your steps each week on the website, and you will see a running tally of each team’s progress.

Everyone who joins will be on a team. Teams should consist of four to six people. Find work friends and colleagues who would like to be part of your team. Once you have a team set, register online at https://holycross.walkertracker.com. Registration runs September 12 - 23, 2016. Challenge runs from September 23 - October 23, 2016.

There will be a closing ceremony in early November to celebrate, give out awards, prizes and raffle off a few activity trackers for just attending and supporting this event.

There are two competitions: 1. Team Challenge

Weekly prize winners Team challenges allow for camaraderie, accountability, and fun! Teams meeting the step goal of 8,000 steps/day are eligible for weekly prize drawings: $20 gift cards/individual on team.

Grand prize The grand prize in the competition will be drawn from the eligible teams that have completed the four weeks of the competition and who have averaged 8,000 steps/day. They will receive $50 gift card/individual on winning team.

2. Individual Challenge The employee with the highest number of steps A certificate will be awarded to the employee who averages the highest amount of steps.
