Friday, April 29 8 a.m. Arrive in Chapel Hill to board bus 8:30 a.m. Depart for Fort Macon (Atlantic Beach) 11 a.m. Lunch stop in/near New Bern 12:30 Continue to Fort Macon 1:30 – 3:30 p.m. Fort Macon 3:30 p.m. Depart for Wilmington 6:00 p.m. Arrive in Wilmington; check in to Best Western Plus Coastline Inn 7:30 p.m. – 9:30 p.m. Dinner at Riverboat Landing - 10 min walk (0.5 mile) from hotel 9:30 p.m. Depart for hotel

Saturday, April 30 8:00 a.m. Breakfast at hotel 9:00 am. Depart hotel for Fort Fisher and Aquarium 10:00 – 2 p.m. Fort Fisher Aquarium with lunch and lecture with Fred Kiger ’74 Lunch catered by Casey’s Buffet 2:00 p.m. Depart for Fort Fisher 2:15 – 4:15 p.m. Fort Fisher 4:15 p.m. Depart for hotel / free time / Dinner on your own Restaurant suggestions provided; option to make small-group reservations, too.

Sunday, May 1 8:00 a.m. Breakfast at hotel 9:00 a.m. Depart hotel for USS North Carolina 9:15 a.m. - 12 p.m. USS North Carolina – self guided tour, with opening remarks by Fred Kiger ’74 12:30 p.m. Lunch (boxed lunch from Front Street Brewery) Closing remarks by Fred Kiger ’74 1:30 p.m. Depart for Chapel Hill 4:30 p.m. Arrive in Chapel Hill
