 Oversight of day-to-day operations of the Athens “FACES” residential program for individuals with development disabilities and COMP waiver Medicaid funding. This included, but was not limited to: billing, marketing, recruiting new host homes, recruiting new participants and conducting intakes, auditing Medicaid charts, training of new employee and continuing education, public relations, and building community resources.

 As Lead Case Manager, executed and supervised the ISP implementation, HRST management, creation of all needed health and safety protocols for individuals in the FACES program, ensured best practice standards in the host home, quality management of all Medicaid documentation, and wrote procedures for case managers that were implemented agency-wide.

 As Recruiter, screened and trained new caregivers, performed CPA home studies and wrote final documentation submitted to Provider Network for approval. Conducted continuing education classes monthly for caregivers, wrote and implemented several policy and procedures for host homes.

 Increased Medicaid billing capacity in the Shelter Plus Care Program for my caseload by 70%.

 Conducted fundraising and donations campaigns for clients and/or agency. Created new community resource relationships for individuals in the Shelter Plus Care and Family Support programs.

Assisted in the development of ISP treatment plans and goals.  As case manager with Shelter Plus Care, coordinated services for living in residential program. Supervised and educated clients on daily living skills, treating mental health diagnosis, and transitioning from Shelter Plus Care Program into less intensive level of care or independent living. Advocated for clients and linked them with community resources such as DFACS, GED programs, food banks, and jobs.

6  Organized and oversee “The Daisy Closet”, a school-based charity for needy children funded by troop proceeds of Girl Scout cookie sales. Work with the members of troop to help identify needs of children, purchase and deliver donations, and develop long-term plans for charity.
