PRECEPT STUDY REVELATION PART 4 - LECTURE 14 The Events That Follow His Coming

INTRODUCTION: It is almost midnight you all. It is almost time for Jesus Christ to return and that’s exciting. That means, if you believe that we’re going to be out of here before the Tribulation happens, before the last 3½ years or before the whole 70th week of Daniel, that’s very, very exciting. But with it is not only to be excitement but there is to be a sense of responsibility. Just last night I was walking across the Walnut Street Bridge with Evelyn (it was her birthday) and I was walking along and I was thinking. I’ve been praying for a lot of my brothers and sisters in Christ that are suffering for the gospel of Jesus Christ. We were talking about some people want me to slow down and that, and yet I really feel that years ago the Lord gave me Jeremiah 1:4-10. I wouldn’t receive it and I thought, “God, this is my imagination.” But in Jeremiah 1 He tells them that He is sending them a prophet to the nations. And I see that that is what God is doing. It’s almost, in a sense, overwhelming (she’s crying) and the responsibility. They were saying, “You need to slow down.” I thought, “Lord, I don’t have much time and there’s a world out there.” When I go in these foreign countries, I see people that do not have the advantages we have—do not have the tools that we have—do not have the resources and the knowledge that we have and they’re so hungry. In Italy I would teach until 11:00 at night and I would start at 9:30 in the morning. It was just all day teaching of these pastors and training them. They are so desperately, desperately hungry. I thought, “God you haven’t put me in a prison cell. You haven’t called me to suffer in that way. But You’ve called me to be faithful. You’ve called me and you’ve left me free—but you haven’t left me free —and listen carefully—free to live my own life—free to do my own thing—free to seek my own happiness. What He’s given me with the gospel and what He’s given you, is not a freedom but a responsibility. And that responsibility is to hold forth the Word of Life in the midst of a crooked and perverse generation (Phil 2:15) and we don’t have much time. Today we’re going to see the certainty, the certainty, of the lake of fire where the ‘worm dies not and the fire is not quenched’ (Mark 9:44-48; Isaiah 66:24). The certainty of the Great White Throne Judgment where those whose names are not written in the book of life (and they wouldn’t be at the Great White Throne Judgment) if their names were not written there, where those people are going to be cast into the lake of fire where the ‘worm dies not and the fire is not quenched.’ You and I, precious one, you and I are going to go and we’re going to look at those people.

A DAY WHEN ALL ISRAEL WILL BE SAVED. I want you to go to Isaiah 66—the last chapter of Isaiah. In this last chapter of Isaiah which causes us to focus right on the very end of time, which you and I are going to look at in just a few minutes. It’s talking about all the nations coming and making a grain offering to the Lord and this is when He sets up His kingdom; when He rules for 1,000 years. And in Isaiah 66:20 it says this, “Then they shall bring all your brethren from all the nations (They are going to gather the Jews from all the nations.) as a grain offering to the LORD, on horses, in chariots, in litters, on mules and on camels, to My holy mountain Jerusalem,” (Right now the Jews are scattered all over the earth. They are scattered from one end of the sky to the other end of the sky. From the four corners of the earth; from the four corners of the heavens they are scattered there. They have been scattered there because of their disobedience. They’ve been scattered there because of their rebellion and yet because of the promises of God are “yea” and “amen,” because the gifts and callings of God are irrevocable. There is coming a day when all Israel will be saved. And this is pointing to this time. And after Jesus Christ comes, He’s going to gather all of His brethren from all over.) It says in verse 21. I will also take some of them for priests and for Levites,” says the LORD. (And then He makes this statement. And this is where Revelation ends with the new heavens and the new earth.) He says, “For just as the new heavens and the new earth which I make will endure before Me,” declares the LORD, “So your offspring (the Jews) and your name will endure. (God is not through with Israel. I want to tell you something. If you don’t understand prophecy in all probability it’s because—or if you aren’t interested in prophecy and I meet with people that I just dearly love and have close fellowship with—but they believe that God is through with Israel—they don’t believe in a literal Millennium—they believe that Israel had their chance and Israel lost it. When they start trying to teach Revelation and teach other prophetic passages it’s just blah. It’s like oatmeal without any salt in it. It’s absolutely tasteless. What He’s saying here to Israel is, “Your offspring and your name will endure.”) Now watch. And it shall be from new moon to new moon and from sabbath to sabbath, (Now listen.) all mankind will come to bow down before Me,” says the LORD. (You might as well bow now because if you don’t bow now, you’re going to bow at the Great White Throne Judgment. Everyone’s going to bow before Him.) Now listen. Then they will go forth and look on the corpses of the men (Now watch.) They’re going to come and they’re going to bow before the Lord. Then after they bow before the Lord, they’re going to go over and they are going to look down on the corpses of these men. They are going to look on the bodies of the living dead—men who have transgressed the Word of God—men who have put it aside—men who have ignored it—men who would not submit to the Lord.) Then it says, they will go forth and look on the corpses of the men who have transgressed against Me. (Why?) For their worm will not die and their fire will not be quenched; and they will be abhorrence to all mankind.” In other words, these people, and I believe you and I, even though it’s the new heavens and the new earth, that somehow in some way we are going to look into the lake of fire where the worm dies not and the fire is not quenched. The awfulness, the awfulness of an eternity without Jesus Christ. I want to tell you something. that eternity is eternal. It is eternal. Don’t let anyone tell you it’s not because the same 1 verses that talk about life being eternal, talk about hell—the lake of fire—being eternal. And you and I need to realize this that we’re all going to live forever and ever and ever. Some are going to be those that live with that abundance of life that Jesus Christ promised; others are going to be the living dead and they’re going to live in the lake of fire.

REVIEW. What we want to do is we want to go and look and catch up an overview of where I left off last week. As we look at the resurrections, I want to show you what happens. 1. Hades and two compartments: one side is torment; the other is Abraham’s bosom. We saw that in the Old Testament days before Christ was buried and raised from the dead that anybody that died went to one of two compartments of what we call Hades. They either went to the side where they were in torment, or they went to the side that was Abraham’s bosom. Luke 16:26 tells us this. 2. Chasm between the two-can’t cross over it. We see that there was a gulf fixed, a chasm between those two places and you could not go from one side to the other. Your fate was set. Luke 16 tells us that your fate is set because the rich man says, “Send Lazarus over to dip his finger and touch my tongue and cool it.” And he says, “I can’t; there’s a great chasm between us and those that would come over can’t and that you would leave.” And he says, “Can’t.” “Well then, at least go and please send someone and tell my five brothers that are left that there is a real place like this.” And he says, “I want to tell you something. He said, “Though one were was raised from the dead they wouldn’t believe; if they won’t believe Moses and the prophets; if they won’t believe what the Word of God says, they are not going to believe even if somebody came back from the dead.” Well, who was the One that came back from the dead? Jesus died. He was buried. The third day He rose again from the dead. He came back. What did He say on the resurrection and the life? He breathed into His disciples and He gave them the breath of life. Those that were doomed to die were made alive because Jesus is the way, the truth and the life (John 14:6). He proclaimed that. He’s proclaimed it. We have the Word of God, but people won’t believe it. If they won’t believe the Word of God, (he says) they won’t believe the One who is raised from the dead. So this is what happened. 3. God’s gift to us; Hell enlarges itself; and our responsibility. All those that have died since Adam and Eve all the way—now listen—all the way clear up here into and past Daniel’s 70th week and past the Tribulation—clear up past the 1,000 year reign when Christ rules upon the earth—all that through the end of that Millennium—everyone (now listen) that ever dies—that ever dies from Adam and Eve up until this time that dies and then is going to be resurrected—first of all they are going to go to this place of torment. You read a Scripture and it says that hell has to enlarge itself to receive all those people (Isaiah 5:14). What you and I need to remember is: Broad is the way. Wide is the gate that leads to destruction and many there are that go there (Mt. 7:13). Narrow is the gate and straight is the way that leads to eternal life and few there are that receive it (Mt. 7:14). If you have received it you ought to be flat on your face before God praising Him; thanking Him and not taking this gift lightly, but knowing that to whom much is given; much is required (Luke 12:48) and we are stewards of the mysteries of God and it’s required therefore that stewards be found faithful (1 Cor. 4:1-2) and that we are to preach the Word in season and out of season and we’re to reprove and rebuke and exhort with all long-suffering and doctrines for the time is coming when men will not endure sound teaching but they will heap to themselves with teachers who will tickle their ears (2 Tim. 4:2-3). So you and I have a responsibility. 4. Non-believers: Great White Throne Judgment/Second Death. Everyone that has ever died without either looking to Christ in faith—the coming of the promise of Messiah—or looking back at what Jesus Christ did and believing Him—all of those go to this place of torment. They will not be resurrected until they come here at the end of the Millennium and then they will stand at the Great White Throne Judgment of God. That is called the second death. That is called the second death. 5. Abraham’s bosom/Paradise/Third Heaven. Now what I want to do and we’ll look at that a little bit more, but what I want to do is I want to look at: What about those that are resurrected or that are believers? What happens to those? In the Old Testament the only way that people would get saved would be by either being a Jew that believed in coming of Messiah and kept the commandments, or proselytized so that they became a Jew and kept the commandments and circumcision and all of that. What about these people that have died that that have believed. Well, when they died they went to Abraham’s bosom. After Jesus Christ was raised from the dead and ascended into heaven, I believe that this whole compartment of Abraham’s bosom was moved up to heaven and it is now called Paradise and is in the third heaven and that’s what we saw in our lesson last week as I taught. 6. Correlation to the Jewish Feasts. So all those that died before Calvary, before the resurrection of Jesus Christ, because He had to be the firstborn from the dead, all of those now are in heaven. But listen, they are in heaven without a body. They are in a spirit-kind of form. So then what do you have? That was all taken care of at the Feast of Passover—all of those events that I’ve just said covered the Feast of Passover. Christ our Passover has been sacrificed for us. Let us keep the Feast of Unleavened Bread (1 Cor. 5:7-8). as I taught you last week. You need to listen if you didn’t get last week’s message. Then Christ is the first fruits of those from the dead. So we have Him being the first One to heaven and then all those souls can be taken to heaven. Now, 50 days after First Fruits came the Feast of Pentecost. At Pentecost, the Holy Spirit came down to indwell anyone that would look back in faith and believe on the Lord Jesus Christ. So when they looked to Calvary and they believed on the Lord Jesus Christ,

2 having believed and heard the message (as Ephesians 1:13-14 says), they were sealed with the Holy Spirit until the day of their redemption.

DAY OF REDEMPTION--RAPTURED. Now when is the day of their redemption? These are people that make up the Church. The day of Pentecost they waved two loaves of bread. And those two loaves, I believe, represented Jew and Gentile in one Body. So the Church is made up of Jews and Gentiles that believe that Jesus Christ is the Messiah—that have bowed the knee—that have confessed Him as their Lord and God. They have the Holy Spirit. I believe that this Church-Age group is raptured, resurrected, before (My personal belief and I gave this to you.) my personal belief is they are raptured before the 70th week of Daniel. You say, “You just want to escape that Tribulation.” I want to tell you something. Saints have gone through hell—they have gone through hell—ever since Jesus Christ even back in the Old Testament saints…one of them it says in Isaiah was sawed in two (I only found Hebrews 11:37)…that they lived in caves—that they went through all sorts of persecution. No, I’m not trying to escape persecution; I just believe that this is what the Scriptures teach. I believe that Daniel’s 70th week is for Israel—that it is not for us. I gave you seven reasons why I believe that we’re not going to be here. I told you this: I’m not going to fall on my sword over it. I will fall on my sword for the fact that I believe that we’re not going to be here for the last 3½ years because I believe that’s when the day of the Lord starts. That’s my own personal belief. You know why I believe it if you’ve been listening—if you’ve been doing your homework; you’ve got enough to figure it out for yourself because we’ve looked at everything. So the Church, I believe, is raptured before this. That Jesus Christ comes in the air; the saints meet Him in the air—not on the earth. They are evermore with the Lord. What has He done? Well, I believe that John 14:2-3 has come to pass. “In My Father’s house are many (mansions) dwelling places… I go to prepare a place for you. If I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again.” So He promised the Church He was coming for them. He promised the Church that He would take them where He was so that they would be with Him forevermore. He’s taking us to the Father’s house. The Father’s house is still in heaven; it’s not on earth. So He’s come to get the Church.

JUDGMENT SEAT OF CHRIST—8th reason why Church won’t be here. What’s He going to do with the Church? Well, I believe that after He gets the Church that we have to stand at the Judgment Seat of Christ—and this is 2 Corinthians 5:10 and Romans 14:10 that says that we (speaking of the Church) must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, so that each one may be recompensed for his deeds in the body, according to what he has done, whether good or bad. Now that’s another reason why I believe (and you can add it—it’s my 8th reason) why I believe that the Church won’t be here during Daniel’s 70th week. I don’t need to go through that Tribulation. It is Daniel’s 70th week. It is for the Jews; it is not for the Gentiles. It is not to bring me to Jesus Christ; I already know Jesus Christ. So I believe that what He’s done is He has caught me up to heaven along with the rest of the Church and that He is going to weigh how I’ve walked and lived in the Holy Spirit—whether I have been faithful to the Word of God. I don’t believe that it’s going to be the same for every child of God. I believe that we’re going to receive rewards; I believe that we’re going to lose rewards according to our faithfulness. That’s why I want to urge you in this last lesson of Revelation that you be found faithful. That you do what God has called you to do. And that you know that to whom much is given; much is required. So now is our day of service; then I’m going to stand at this Judgment Seat of Christ. When I stand at this Judgment Seat of Christ, I’m going to give an answer for the deeds done in my body. I will be preparing my wedding gown. As I prepare my wedding gown, then what’s happening down here on earth is in that middle of that 70th week of Daniel—at the 7th trumpet—the day of the Lord (I believe) comes. 1. Start of Day of the Lord. Now some people think that the day of the Lord starts at the first seal. I believe it can’t and I will tell you why. Some teach that it starts at the first seal because of “birth pangs.” Others teach it starts at the first seal because of what it says in 1 Thessalonians 5. But there are very clear passages that say that certain things have to happen before the day of the Lord. The moon has to turn to blood—that’s the sixth seal. The sun has to turn dark—that’s the sixth seal. Blood, fire and smoke have to be on the face of this earth—that’s in the seals and in the trumpets. Then you also have to have Elijah coming before the day of the Lord. So that is in the first 3½ years—because I believe he’s one of the two witnesses. So I believe the day of the Lord cannot start until the middle of Daniel’s 70th week and that starts and inaugurates for us the Tribulation. As it says in Daniel 12, as it says in Matthew 24 and as it says in Mark 13, and as it says in Joel, it is the time of distress such as this world has never seen and will never be after. We’re not here, I believe, because God tells the Church in Revelation 3:10, ‘Because you have kept the word of My (testimony) perseverance, (And every believer keeps the word of His testimony because we are overcomers.) He says ‘Because you have kept the word of My perseverance, I also will keep you from the hour of testing, that hour which is about to come upon the whole world, to (try those) test those who dwell on the earth. So He says He’s going to keep us from it. I believe He means He’s going to keep us out of it. Others say, “Well, He’s going to keep you all the way through it.” But if He does, the martyrs that you see here are martyrs because of their faith in Jesus Christ. The two don’t line up for me—but that’s me personally. So what do you have? You have people dying here during Daniel’s 70th week, but I do not believe that they are part of the Church in the sense that they have the indwelling of the Holy Spirit like we have. I believe in 2 Thessalonians 2 when it says the day of the Lord cannot come unless the apostasy comes first, unless the man of lawlessness is revealed (Which I believe happens in the middle of Daniel’s 70th week.) and the Restrainer is removed. The only 3 thing I can figure out for the Restrainer, and I’ve looked at every different view, is I believe that the Restrainer is the Holy Spirit in the Church of Jesus Christ, restraining evil because when the Holy Spirit (John 16:8) comes to us, He will convict the world of sin, of righteousness and judgment. So I believe right now, what’s my job here on the earth? My job is to be so filled with the Holy Spirit—to so walk in the Holy Spirit—to proclaim His Word in season and out of season—to let the voice of the Lord be heard—to shout it from the housetops—to not turn to the right or to the left—that I am a deterrent to evil right now. And that I am a voice crying in the wilderness, so to speak, repent and prepare ye the way of the Lord (Isaiah 40:3), which causes some people to stop and say, “Whoa! There’s got to be more to life than this.” I am a threat to the enemy and the enemy is now the prince of this world. But God never intended for the enemy to be the prince of this world; God intended for man to be the prince of this world. So He sent the Son of Man who was born; who died. The Son of Man is coming. Now is the day of man, so to speak. Now is the day when man is rearing His ugly head and the nations sit and they take counsel against the Lord. But the day of the Lord is coming. When finally the mystery of God is finished and you understand that God has waited all this time. But now God has taken His reign and He has begun to rule and He takes those seven bowls of wrath and He pours them out on the kingdom of the beast. He pours them out on the world and the wrath of God is poured out. In the midst of that wrath then Jesus Christ comes to earth.

OTHERS—WHAT HAPPENS TO THEM? 1. Those (believers) who die during Daniel’s 70th week. Now when He comes to earth, all these people that died during this (now watch) all these people that died during Daniel’s 70th week—because they are not part of the Church—what happens to them? I believe that their souls go to be up here (pointing). Because what do you see in the fifth seal? You see the souls under the altar. In Revelation 7, those that come out of the Tribulation you see them under the altar. You see them in white robes. You see them calling to God. But I do not believe their bodies are resurrected. I believe their bodies are right down here in the grave or wherever their head rolled to when they lopped off their head. 2. Those (non-believers) who die during Daniel’s 70th week. What about all those that died during this time when a third of mankind is killed and then more mankind is killed? What about those that don’t know Jesus—that aren’t looking forward to Him—that aren’t martyrs because they believe in Him? They go right over here (pointing) where they are in Hades. They are there and they are waiting for the time of the second death. So what happens?

WHAT HAPPENS WHEN JESUS CHRIST COMES BACK? What happens when Jesus Christ comes back? We know that when He comes back all the nations are gathered at Megiddo. All the nations gather there. Babylon then is destroyed. They see that destruction. They march on up to Jerusalem. They take Jerusalem; they capture Jerusalem. They ravish the people; they ravish the wives. They plunder their houses. And they are just full of their own selves. This is the day, they think, of their vengeance and they’re proving themselves. So what happens? 1. Christ leaves heaven with His army. Christ leaves heaven. He leaves heaven, but He leaves heaven with His army. What’s His army? We know it’s His holy angels; we studied that. We believe it’s the Bride of Christ also. And that we’re in these garments—white and pure—these linen garments. So we come back with Him to earth. We have already met Him in the air. Otherwise if the Rapture happens at the end of this, we have to meet Him in the air, turn around, come right back. There’s no time for a Judgment Seat of Christ and there’s no mention of the Judgment Seat of Christ from then on in. So that’s why I believe—another reason—why we’re out of here. So then we come back down to earth with Him. 2. Edom first. When we come, He comes first to Edom which is south of Jerusalem, down south of the Dead Sea. He comes that way. Why are your garments stained with blood? And He says, this one that comes from Edom—this one that comes from Bozra (Isaiah 63:1-3). So He comes down to get that remnant of Jews that fled into the wilderness where God had a place prepared for them for times, time and half a time (Revelation 12:6). He comes and He rescues those. 3. Valley of Jehoshaphat and Jerusalem are next. He moves from the south, now south of the Dead Sea down in Edom, on up to Jerusalem. As He moves up into Jerusalem, the armies are there in the Valley of Jehoshaphat. He comes through Jerusalem and there’s a great battle and a great blood bath. What has happened at that (and let’s look at it) is Revelation 19. In Revelation 19 it says in v. 19, And I saw the beast and the kings of the earth and their armies assembled to make war against Him who sat on the horse and against His army (that’s us). And the beast was seized, and with him the false prophet who performed the signs in his presence, by which he deceived those who had received the mark of the beast and those who worshiped his image; these two were thrown alive into the lake of fire which burns with brimstone. (So Jesus Christ comes down to earth (watch—right here). He comes down to earth at the end of Daniel’s 70th week. One thousand two hundred sixty days have passed since the abomination of desolation takes his place in the temple of God and declares himself to be God. Three and one half years are up. What happens is those two are thrown alive into the lake of fire and there they are.) But, the rest (now watch what it says in verse 21), And the rest were killed with the sword which came from the mouth of Him who sat on the horse, and all the birds were filled with their flesh. So these people that are killed at this campaign (we’ll call it) Campaign of Armageddon because they are gathered together in Armageddon, where did they go? Where 4 did they go? They go over here to Hades—where death and Hades are. So they are there and they are in torment. Why? They’re not going to be resurrected for 1,000 years. So that’s where they go. 4. People still alive. So then you have people that are living during this time (pointing). Everybody is not killed when Jesus Christ comes to earth. So what happens?

OTHER THINGS TO HAPPEN AT CHRIST’S RETURN BUT NO CLEAR CHRONOLOGY. Well, I want to give you a scenario of events that happen with the coming of Jesus Christ. But as I give them to you, this is what I want you to understand: I want you to understand that I do not know the chronology of it. And I don’t think the chronology is clear. I’m going to just give you the things and we’re going to look at them. 1. Fulfillment of Feast of Booths in Jesus’ Coming. Go to Zechariah. This is the first thing—this is not the first thing—this is one of the things. Zechariah 14. And this is what I want you to see and this is so neat. Last week I told you about the feasts. And I told you about the first two major feasts. But then there is a third feast and it’s called the Feast of (what?) Tabernacles. The Feast of Tabernacles. Now go to Zechariah 14. In Zechariah 14:9 it says, And the LORD will be king over all the earth; in that day the LORD will be the only one, and His name the only one. All the land will be changed into a plain from Geba to Rimmon south of Jerusalem; but Jerusalem will rise and remain on its site (So Jerusalem will have been devastated—Zechariah 14:1+ will be devastated and destroyed. But Jerusalem will rise again.) Verse 11. And People will live in it, (will live in Jerusalem. So Jerusalem is going to be reconstructed, rebuilt, reinhabited.) and there will no longer be (what?) no more curse, for Jerusalem (No more judgment of God.) for Jerusalem will dwell in security. (Finally they will have what they want.) Now watch, v. 12. Now this will be the plague with which the LORD will strike all the peoples who have gone to war against Jerusalem (all those people that are gathered there); their flesh will rot while they stand on their feet, (If you want a picture of that—Hollywood version—get Raiders of the Lost Ark and look at the end of the movie.) and their eyes will rot in their sockets, and their tongue will rot in their mouth. It will come about in that day that a great panic from the LORD will fall on them; (now watch) and they will seize one another’s hand, and the hand of one will be lifted against the hand of another. (They will be killing themselves. That’s what’s happening.) Now look at verse 14. And Judah also will fight at Jerusalem; (Now remember, in Zechariah we saw that there are tents of Judah that are south of Jerusalem and the Lord spares them first. So Judah is going to come up to fight against Jerusalem.) and the wealth of all the surrounding nations will be gathered, gold and silver and garments in great abundance. So also like this plague will be the plague on the horse, the mule, the camel, the donkey and all the cattle (Now we saw in Revelation 19 that the birds come and eat the beasts of the field. And they eat the flesh of kings and commanders and horses and all that.) Verse 16. Then (now watch) Then it will come about that any who are left of all the nations that went against Jerusalem will go up from year to year to worship the King, the LORD of hosts, and to celebrate (what?) the Feast of Booths. (To celebrate the Feast of Booths. What happens when Jesus Christ and let me just draw it up here. Here is Christ’s second coming to earth. When He comes to earth, we know that the nations are going to be gathered against Jerusalem but they are going to come against Jerusalem—so you’re going to have this conflict. 2. Fulfillment of Feast of Trumpets in Jesus’ Coming—Salvation of Israel. When He comes down to earth, what is He going to do? I want you to go to Matthew 24. In Matthew 24 what you have is you have, I believe, a fulfillment—and I believe it’s going to be to the day just like the fulfillment that Passover was and like the fulfillment of the Feast of Pentecost was. I believe you have a fulfillment of the Feast of Tabernacles which was three parts. Trumpets, (what else?) Day of Atonement and (then what?) Tabernacles. Let me show this to you and take you first of all, to Matthew 24:29 “But immediately after the tribulation of those days (the last 3½ years of Daniel’s 70th week) THE SUN WILL BE DARKENED, AND THE MOON WILL NOT GIVE ITS LIGHT, AND THE STARS WILL FALL from the sky, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken. “And then the sign of the Son of Man will appear in the sky, and then all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and they will see the SON OF MAN COMING ON THE CLOUDS OF THE SKY with power and great glory. (Now watch.) And He will send forth His angels with A GREAT TRUMPET and THEY WILL GATHER TOGETHER His elect from the four winds, from one end of the sky to the other. Now does that mean that the Jews are scattered all over the sky? I believe that it’s saying that wherever the sky touches down from the earth, you’re going to find the Jews at the four corners of the earth because there’s another statement that says the four corners of the earth (Isaiah 11:12). So what’s going to happen? I believe at that point, after Christ comes, now watch, He comes. He’s coming with His own. The Feast of Passover has been fulfilled in the cross of Jesus Christ. The Feast of Pentecost has been fulfilled when the Holy Spirit came to indwell believers. That’s a believer (she’s drawing). That’s when Pentecost came. This takes care of the (what?) of the Church and it takes care of the salvation of the Church. But where’s the salvation of Israel? Well I believe the salvation of Israel happens when the nations come against Christ. What happens is He comes to earth and then He sends out a trumpet. That trumpet calls all of His elect. That’s the Feast of Trumpets. It was to gather the people. It stared on the first day of Tishri, which is about our October. So you have the Feast of Trumpets. You have a trumpet sounding. The gathering of the elect. Matthew 24:29, 31. He will gather His elect from the four corners of the earth. 3. Fulfillment of Day of Atonement in Jesus’ Coming—Israel’s sins forgiven in one day. Then what do you have? The next feast that follows is ten days later is the Day of Atonement which is part of the Feast of 5 Tabernacles. So the Day of Atonement. Atonement is when your sins are forgiven. He takes away the sins of the nation of Israel at one instant. Israel is saved in one day. Let me show you these Scriptures. Go to Jeremiah 32 and we’re going to have to hurry. I’m sorry but I can’t delay the course any longer. In Jeremiah 32:37-41 (and you want to get these passages down). He says, Behold, I will gather them out of all the lands to which I have driven them in My anger, (speaking of Israel) in My wrath and in great indignation; and I will bring them back to this place (now watch) and make them dwell in safety. They shall be My people, and I will be their God; (verse 39) I will give them one heart and one way, that they may fear Me (for how long?) always, for their own good and for the good of their children after them. I will make an everlasting covenant with them that I will not turn away from them, to do them good; and I will put the fear of Me in their hearts so that they will not (what?) turn away from Me. (Has that ever happened to Israel? No. So I believe He calls them when He gets back. His angels blow the trumpet. He brings them all back to Jerusalem. There they believe on Him and you have the Day of Atonement.) Let me show it to you in Ezekiel 36. Now what’s going to happen to these people? God’s going to make them a new creation. Watch. Ezekiel 36:24-37. Now watch the progression. Then, v. 24, I will take you from the nations, gather you from all the lands and bring you into your own land. Then (then tells you when) I will sprinkle clean water on you, and you will be clean; I will cleanse you from all your filthiness and from all your idols. Moreover, I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you; and I will remove the heart of stone from your flesh and give you a heart of flesh. I will put My Spirit (what?) within you (Now that’s what the Church had during the Church Age. They had the Holy Spirit within. The Holy Spirit left when the Church left as far as He was no longer indwelling because the indwellers were taken away. Yes the Holy Spirit was still at work. Even in the Old Testament the Holy Spirit was at work. In John 15:5-16 Jesus says, I’ve got to go away. If I don’t go away the Holy Spirit can’t come. I’m going to send you another Helper—another of the same kind. He’s with you now but He will be (what?) in you. So the Holy Spirit is still at work but now the Holy Spirit is going to indwell Jew just as He has indwelt the Church.) And so He says, I will put My Spirit within you and cause you to walk in My statutes, and you will be careful to observe My ordinances. You will live in the land that I gave to your forefathers; so you will be My people, and I will be your God. Moreover, I will save you from all your uncleanness. Verse 30. I will multiply the fruit of the tree and … you will not receive again the disgrace of famine among the nations. Verse 31. Then you will remember your evil ways and your deeds that were not good, and you will loathe yourselves in your own sight for your iniquities and your abominations. I am not doing this for your sake…let it be known to you. Be ashamed and confounded for your ways, O house of Israel!” ‘Verse 33. Now watch. Thus says the Lord GOD, “On the day that I cleanse you from all your iniquities, (That’s what the Day of Atonement was all about.) I will cause the cities to be inhabited, (Jerusalem and Israel) and the waste places will be rebuilt. The desolate land will be cultivated instead of being a desolation in the sight of everyone who passes by. They will say, ‘This desolate land has become like the garden of Eden… Verse 36. Then the nations that are left (The nations that are not killed at this battle.) The nations that are left round about you will know that I, the LORD, have rebuilt the ruined places and planted that which was desolate; (now listen) I, the LORD, have spoken and will do it.” ‘(What He says, He’s going to do.) And then He says, Thus says the Lord GOD, “This also I will let the house of Israel ask Me to do for them: I will increase their men like a flock. So those Jews who are in (now watch) they are in earthly bodies inhabited by the Spirit of God are going to bring forth children. Have you got it? But all those people that bring forth children, all those Jews, from then on Israel will always be saved—Israel will always be saved. In Ezekiel 37:21 now watch this very carefully. Say to them, ‘Thus says the Lord GOD, “Behold, I will take the sons of Israel from among the nations where they have gone, and I will gather them from every side and bring them into their own land; (That’s the Feast of Trumpets.) and I will make them one nation in the land, on the mountains of Israel; (now listen) and one king will be king for all of them; and they will no longer be (what?) two nations (This has never happened since the dispersion under Babylon.) and no longer be divided into two kingdoms. They will no longer defile themselves with their idols, (They are doing that now.) …but I will deliver them from all their dwelling places in which they have sinned, and will cleanse them. (What does He do? He does that on the Day of Atonement. I will cleanse them.) And then listen He says, And they will be My people, and I will be their (what?) God. So what do you have? You have them being brought back. You have them being saved, repenting in a day that nation repents in a day. He becomes their God and they become His people. Now watch. 4. Rulers under Jesus. What you have is you have Jesus ruling as King of kings and Lord of lords. Who rules under Him? Well, you have two branches, I believe. You have the Church over here—you have the Church over here— and we are told in Revelation 1, we are told in Revelation 5, we are told in 1 Corinthians 6 and other places that we are going to rule and reign on the face of this earth. So we are going to rule with Him. But over here you’ve got a whole nation of Israel that is going to continue to grow that will need to be ruled over. So who is going to rule under Jesus? Who’s going to be king? Well watch. David is going to be king. I get more hate mail over this, but anyway, it says David. You say, “But it means Jesus.” Listen, it means David! So David is going to rule under Jesus. Now watch what it says. It says in v. 24. “My servant David will be king over them, and they will all have one shepherd; and they will walk in My ordinances (You say, “Wait a minute, wait a minute. How did David get there?” David was up here in his spirit. Well see, when this happens (pointing) there’s also the resurrection—the first resurrection. And so David has been among those Jews now that have been resurrected—that get a brand new 6 body. So David is going to be king over them.) they will all have one shepherd; and they will walk in My ordinances and keep My statutes and observe them. They will live on the land that I gave to Jacob My servant, in which your fathers lived; and they will live on it, they, and their sons and their sons’ sons, (For how long?) forever; and David My servant will be their prince (For how long?) forever. I will make a covenant of peace with them; it will be an everlasting covenant with them. (Now watch) And I will place them and multiply them, and will set My sanctuary in their midst forever. (There’s going to be a brand new millennial temple. You say, “Where do I read about it?” Read about it in Ezekiel 40-48.) I will set My sanctuary in their midst forever. My dwelling place also will be with them; (So He’s going to be down here on earth.) and I will be their God, and they will be My people. And the nations will know that I am the LORD who sanctifies Israel, when My sanctuary is in their midst forever. Do you know who is going to rule under David? You’ve got twelve tribes of Israel, haven’t you? You’re going to have the twelve apostles ruling over them. And what tells you that? And you can write it down, we’re not going to look it up, but it is Matthew 19:28 and Luke 22:28-30. You’re going to have princes ruling (Ezekiel 45:8). You’re going to have judges ruling (Isaiah 1:26). Haggai talks about Zerubbabel going to rule and that’s Haggai 2:20-23. So this is what the Millennium is going to be like. 5. Fulfillment of Feast of Tabernacles in Jesus’ Coming. You say, “But where’s the Feast of Tabernacles?” We read about it in Zechariah. Remember? He’s going to come. He’s going to gather His elect. Then He’s going to save Israel in a day. Then He’s going to have the Feast of Tabernacles when God (now watch) when God Himself, Jesus Christ, Tabernacles among men as King of kings and Lord of lord. 6. Tribulation saints. All of this brings everybody up for the first resurrection. You say, “What about these Tribulation saints?” I just read it to you—if I didn’t read it to you this time, I can’t remember, I read it to you last week—and that is that judgment is given to these people. And those that were beheaded with Christ for the Word of God and the testimony of Jesus Christ, those that didn’t receive the mark of the beast are going to be raised from the dead and they are going to rule and reign with Him (for how long?) for 1,000 years. 7. Judgment of the Nations. What do you have? You have a judgment also of the nations. You have Jesus Christ coming back. You have the salvation of Israel. You have the judgment of the nations. It’s Joel 3. And in Joel 3 He calls the nations to the Valley of Jehoshaphat. He talks about them coming into the Valley of Jehoshaphat—I can’t find Joel—where He judges them. It’s Joel 3:12 He says, Let the nations be aroused and come up to the valley of Jehoshaphat, for there I will sit to judge all the surrounding nations. That parallels with Matthew 25:31-46. That was Joel 3:12 and then you can read on and it talks about that God is a refuge for Israel and what’s going to happen in that day and how Judah will drip sweet wine and that. So this is what you have. You have the judgment of the nations right here after He comes back. 8. Extra Days in Jesus’ Coming. Now what’s happening during this time? Remember Daniel? In Daniel it gives us a different timeframe than Revelation does in Daniel 7. In Daniel 12 he talks about this. He says in Daniel 12:11 he says, “From the time that the regular sacrifice is abolished (Which I believe is the middle of Daniel’s 70th week. It’s when the 7th trumpet is blown.) the time that the regular sacrifice is abolished and the abomination of desolation is set up, there will be 1,290 days. (1,290 days not 1260 days.) Then it says, How blessed is he who keeps waiting and attains to the 1,335 days! (In other words, there are 75 days after Jesus Christ returns. What’s happening? Well, He’s getting the temple cleaned up; he’s getting rid of the abomination of desolation; He’s judging the nations and all those that survive up until that time and are not dealt with or judged because the judgment of the nations—the sheep are separated from the goats—and where are the goats cast? Immediately into the lake of fire. There’s no Great White Throne Judgment for them. Why? They’ve just been judged in person by Jesus Christ. So they are cast into the lake of fire. So all those that survive and come out to the 1,335 days are blessed. They have made it.

MILLENNIAL REIGN OF JESUS CHRIST. After this, what do you have? You have the Millennial Reign of Jesus Christ. During this 1,000-year reign you have people that came in from the nations that were the sheep. They are going to have children. Those children are going to grow up. Isaiah 65:20 tells us that at the age of 100 they will still be considered a youth. But if they die during that time, it shows that they die because they did not believe in Jesus Christ. So you are going to have people living in human bodies during the 1000-year reign. Those people living in those human bodies during that 1000-year reign will live and they will either believe in Jesus or they will not. When the 1,000 years are over, they are still in human bodies. There’s no more resurrection because the resurrection was right here (pointing). So they are in human bodies. So they are the nations that come and go, in and out, of the holy city the New Jerusalem. How do they continue to live? They eat of the tree of life that was in the Garden of Eden that is now in the Paradise of God in the New Heaven and the New Earth. That’s the way that they sustain their life.

WHO IS IN THE NEW JERUSALEM? Who is in the New Jerusalem? It tells you that those twelve gates are for the twelve tribes of Israel. It tells you that the foundation stones are the twelve apostles. And I believe that the Father and His Bride (Israel), and Christ the Son and His Bride (the Church), live in the New Jerusalem. And the rest of the Gentile nations that flow in and out through the gates, eat of the tree of life whose leaves are for the healings of the nations and that’s the way that they are sustained. They worship God. There’s no more sun, no more moon. Why? 7 Because Christ is the Light of it all and that is Eternity. It tells us that nothing unclean, nothing abominable ever enters into the holy city (Revelation 21:27).

GREAT WHITE THRONE JUDGMENT. There’s a Great White Throne Judgment. You studied it. We’ll have to study it some other time. But at the Great White Throne Judgment what you have is you have all those resurrected. All of these come up out of Hades. The dead, small and great, stand before the throne of God. The books are opened. If their name is not in the book of life, they are cast into the lake of fire (Revelation 20:12).

BOOK OF LIFE. You say, “How does their name get in the book of life?” I believe that when you are born your name is put in the book of life. You studied the books. You’ve studied them earlier in Revelation. Your name is put in the book of life. But, if you refuse to believe in Jesus Christ then you break God’s heart because He’s not willing that any should perish. But you folded your arms and you said, “I will not believe.” Then your name is erased from the book of life. So when the books are opened, your name is not there. My name will be there. Why? God wanted me to live; I believed in the Lord Jesus Christ looking at it from a man-ward aspect of salvation and my name was not blotted out of that book. But I also know this, there’s another book and it is called the Lamb’s book of life. And in that Lamb’s book of life, I believe my name was written in there and your’s too if you are a believer, from before the foundation of the world. So they are going to stand here. And everything that they have ever done—every opportunity that they have had to believe in Jesus Christ—every opportunity—they are going to be held accountable for it. There will be degrees of punishment in the lake of fire according to the light that you’ve had and what you refused. But, there will be no escaping. He says, (Matthew 10:15) It’s more tolerable than for Sodom and Gomorrah in the day of judgment then it will be for Capernaum (Matthew 11:23), Bethsaida (Matthew 11:21), these others. Why? Because Sodom and Gomorrah only had the witness of Lot, but Capernaum actually saw the Christ and they refused to bow the knee.

CONCLUSION: Today is the day of salvation. The rest of the story is about to come to pass. You and I don’t have much time. You and I need to run out and warn them to flee from the wrath which is to come. I’ll tell you this: If you will be a good steward of the mysteries of God, when you go and you look down in that lake of fire where the worm dies not and the fire is not quenched you’ll know this. You’ll have no guilty conscience. Their blood will not be upon your hands because you were a faithful steward of the mysteries of God. They made their choice; they had an opportunity. Romans 1:20 says that they are without excuse. The sad thing is (and it is horribly, incredibly sad) is that that is forever and ever and ever and ever and ever. You and I are eternal and you will spend eternity either living and ruling with Jesus Christ and then in a new heaven and new earth where there’s no more sorrow, no more tears, no more death (Revelation 21:4). Or, you will be down there with the cowardly and the unbelieving and the abominable and those who believed a lie and the liar. And you are going to miss what God created you for and that’s to be in oneness with Him and to rule and reign with Him forever and ever. He that believes and overcomes will sit with Me on My throne (Revelation 3:21)—Jesus Christ says. I will live with Him forever and ever. Where, my friend, will you spend eternity?
