Licensed Professional Engineer South Carolina North Carolina New York Publications 20 refereed journal & conference papers-topics include hazardous waste combustion, computational fluid dynamics, internal combustion engine cycles, waste minimization, and hazardous waste bioremediation. 17 non-refereed conference presentations, papers, & poster sessions 2 appearances in network televised news magazine reports, (Inside Edition, May 1998 & 20/20, Feb. 1999), on shopping cart design defects.
Research Experience Over 10 years in basic & applied research including hazardous waste incineration alternate fuels for internal combustion engines, bioremediation of hazardous waste, waste minimization, & computational fluid dynamics. Procured over $300,000.00 in grant & contract money for research. Constructed two laboratories; designed, built, & tested numerous bioreactor prototypes & test devices.
