AFTER YOU HAVE EATEN YOUR TURKEY DINNER AND SHOPPED TIL YOU DROPPED, COME OUT FOR AN EXCITING NIGHT OF FOOTBALL AS WE TAKE ON EAST ROCKINGHAM IN THE REGIONAL FINALS! SENIORS:

1) Seniors need to return your pink Parchment form ASAP. Transcripts will not be processed until those are turned in.

2) OK, SENIORS!! HERE IS YOUR LAST CHANCE TO ORDER YOUR CAP AND GOWN THROUGH THE JOSTENS REPRESENTATIVE!! MANY OF YOU HAVE NOT ORDERED AND SINCE THIS IS A REQUIREMENT FOR GRADUATION---LISTEN UP!! JOSTENS WILL RETURN ON FRIDAY, DEC. 9 FOR YOU TO PLACE YOUR ORDER. THE COST OF THE CAP/GOWN PACKAGE WILL REMAIN AT $38.75 + TAX UNTIL DEC. 15. IF YOU NEED TO PICK UP AN ORDER PACKAGE, WE HAVE A FEW LEFT IN THE OFFICE!!

3) SENIORS WHO ARE FINISHING CLASSES THIS SEMESTER AND NOT RETURNING NEXT SEMESTER NEED TO STOP BY THE OFFICE AND SEE MRS. LOUGH IF YOU HAVE NOT ALREADY DONE SO.

STUDENTS:

1) Students interested in spending a day at the Governor’s School: the sign up sheets are available. Please see your counselor as soon as possible. This is for 10th and 11th graders.

2) Due to many different conflicts, the Fall Sports Awards scheduled for next Monday has been moved to Sunday, Dec. 11 at 4 pm. 3) CONGRATULATIONS to the Academic Team on their 1-1 win over Luray last night. Luray was undefeated until last night. Our team is now 6-2. GREAT JOB, COUGARS!!

4) ROCK OF AGES auditions are Monday and Wednesday next week from 3:30 – 5:30 in the auditorium. You did not have to attend the rehearsal yesterday to audition BUT you must come both days next week. There will be a second session each day at 6 pm for athletes and others with conflicts. See Mrs. Bussey or Ms. Blouse with questions.

1) Coach Carter is looking for a few good people to help with the girls’ basketball team. Anyone interested in running the clock during practices or keeping the game book, please stop by and see Coach Carter in Room 55.

2) Open Gym for girls’ softball will be held TODAY from 4:00 – 5:40 on the field.

3) There will be a meeting for anyone interested in Boys’ soccer in on Dec. 6th at 3:30 pm in room 17.

All college visits are held during Cougar Return and is open for all Juniors & Seniors. This is an excellent opportunity for all interested students to ask questions and learn more about the application process, student life, courses for students and much mih more!! This is also an excellent way to make the great first impression on the admissions counselors of the college you are interested in applying to. Students must request a pass from Mrs. Halterman in the Counseling Office to attend the visit. Passes are to be requested the week prior to the visit and NO passes will be issued the day of the visit. All College Visits are posted on the School Activities Calendar on the School WebPage. UPCOMING VISITS – OPEN TO JUNIORS AND SENIORS:

DETENTION Begins at 3:20 and runs until 4:00 pm No Detention on Mondays and Fridays.
