2014 IADC/SPE DRILLING CONFERENCE AND EXHIBITION SPONSORSHIP POLICIES

The IADC/SPE has instituted the following policies for sponsorship opportunities. The Sponsor agrees that these policies are considered binding and agrees to adhere to these policies in order to secure a sponsorship.

IADC/SPE Sponsorship Guidelines  All copies must be submitted and approved by SPE prior to implementation.

 All individual and exclusive sponsorships are subject to the right of renewal of the previous year’s sponsor.

 It is the responsibility of the sponsor to adhere to the advertising and logo specifications information, as it specifically relates to submittal of company logos to be used in promotion of the sponsorship.

Sponsorship Recognition On Website  Companion Training Course sponsors are recognized on the official SPE Global Course Catalog website, course pages with sponsor information and logo.

 Sponsor must provide on the contract a URL address for hyperlink or logo recognition cannot be guaranteed.

SPE Sponsorship Payment Policy  SPE requires a fifty percent (50%) deposit be submitted with the signed Sponsorship Contract in order to secure a sponsorship.

 Upon receipt of the signed contract and deposit, SPE will email an invoice to the sponsor. A sponsorship will not be acknowledged or promoted until company has submitted the Sponsorship Contract and required deposit.

 The remaining fifty percent (50%) of all SPE sponsorships are due thirty (30) days prior to the event. If a participant has contracted a sponsorship within thirty (30) days of the event, full payment is required with submittal of Sponsorship Contract in order to confirm the sponsorship.

 If a sponsorship cancellation occurs 90 days before event, a 10% penalty shall be incurred.

 If a sponsorship cancellation occurs 60-89 days before event, a 20% penalty shall be incurred.

 If a sponsorship cancellation occurs 30-59 days before event, a 40% penalty shall be incurred.

 If a company cancels its sponsorship within 30 days of the conference, a 75% penalty (the 50% deposit plus an additional 25%) shall be incurred.  Payment is accepted in US dollars only. SPE accepts credit cards, checks, money orders, and wire transfers.

 If the SPE needs to cancel a sponsorship due to the cancelation of classes, the sponsor will be refunded 100% of deposit.

2014 LRBC SPONSORSHIP BENEFITS

Global Training Program Benefits:

 List of training course attendees (name and company only)

 Prominent on-site signage displayed outside in break/lunch areas and outside of training course rooms

 Opportunity to provide company logo promotional items that enhance the learning experience (pens, pads, USB drives, mouse pads, etc.), if SPE Global Training Representative receives goods no later than 30 days prior to training days. Sponsor Representative can bring items to venue on day of training.

 Total of two (2) training seats in any one (1) of the courses being held *registration information must be submitted no later than 30 days prior to class date or with approval from Global Training Representative
