RIDGEWAY VIEW FAMILY PRACTICE PATIENT PARTICIPATION GROUP PATIENT QUESTIONNAIRE - SHS

We asked members of our Patient Participation Group (PPG) to tell us where their priorities for the Practice lie. From their responses, we were able to devise a short survey in order to obtain views from a wider group of patients. We would be grateful if you could take a couple of minutes to complete this anonymous survey and hand it in to reception before you leave today.

If you are interested in joining our PPG please ask for details at the front desk. Or you can visit our website – www.ridgewayviewfamilypractice.co.uk or contact Mandy at the surgery, either by phone on 01793 812221 or via email at [email protected].

Do you have any other comments or suggestion you would like to make?

Had to wait a month for blood test appointment

Are enough appointments still available if urgentish appointments are needed i.e. within a week (ticked not at all satisfied)

Not a wide enough window for appointments and waiting too long

Thank you, I am so lucky

Everyone is just so very helpful

No, receptionists at Wroughton ( my usual) are extremely helpful

Would like to thank Dr xxxx for his quick call for ambulance when my husband had a heart attack. Very satisfied with treatments received

If not extremely urgent waiting time for appointments is too long

Majority of time staff are very helpful and appointments are easy to get. Was disappointed when we were late due to a traffic accident and the nurse refused to see us. As a health care professional in such circumstances I would have seen patient.

It is difficult to fit in doctors appointments when you work fulltime

Some appointments are needed within 2 weeks and can’t get them

Always have to go to Wroughton and live in Chiseldon

To book a blood test took over 4 days. The GP recommended a blood test for a certain time but there were no available appointments. Thank you for your service 4

Receptionists have always been supportive and efficient, I appreciate this greatly,

| www.ridgewayviewfamilypractice.co.uk RIDGEWAY VIEW FAMILY PRACTICE PATIENT PARTICIPATION GROUP PATIENT QUESTIONNAIRE - SHS especially when you have children

Appointment times are rarely maintained in my experience, I think this could be better

One comments about the behaviour of a specific nurse.

It is still not very easy to see a Dr within a week

Very happy and satisfied. Such a good practice

I have always been very satisfied with the service. I speak as a retired surgeon

(Appointments ) Too far in advance for most medical problems

Too long a length of time to see GP during working hours

There are no cups for the water

Waiting for an Appointment is too long sometimes. Can you improve this please? Staff are very pleasant and understanding and helpful all the time. Thank you for that. Also Doctors are very helpful and sympathetic with our problems.

For those working out of hours would help greatly e.g. appointment for before 9 and after 5 for employed only. This would ease for those not employed or retired to go during the day.

It is still not very easy to see a Doctor within week.

THANK YOU FOR YOUR TIME

PLEASE HAND YOUR COMPLETED SURVEY IN AT RECEPTION
