This is in reference to your letter #SED0012 dated February 21, 2003 to secure permission for rental of Government Furnished Equipment for commercial work on a non interference basis.

Review of the list you provided indicated that there were no conflicting projects that would interfere with your use of the stated equipment for non government work.

Permission to allow usage for the requested equipment is granted under the following requirements:

1. Duration of this permission is not to exceed 6 months from receipt of this letter, at which time a new request must be submitted for review and approval by the contracting officer.

2. Rental credits to the contract must be submitted quarterly in accordance with 52.249-9; Uses and changes, Table I, Rental Rates, with information related to the use made of the GFE. A separate line shall be added to the contractors NF533 that does not interfere with the records of the existing contract.

3. Priority of all equipment shall be that of performing NASA contracts and subcontracts and shall not allow any interference with these contracts.
