OKANAGAN DANCE SHOWCASE FESTIVAL Preliminary Information

Here is the schedule of all of the currently available information for the upcoming Okanagan Dance Showcase Festival. I am still awaiting the final quotes on pricing for both the bus and hotel. We did this trip last year for a total cost of $115 per person, including bus and hotel. Lori Bergman has already volunteered to chaperone this trip. If there are any other parents willing to chaperone this trip they would be most welcome! Parents should contact me as soon as possible at [email protected]. Chaperones’ bus costs will be covered however they will need to pay for their own hotel and ticket costs.

DRAFT ITINERARY Sunday April 30th 8:30 am Students load the school bus at LVR 8:45 am Departure (Stops en route as deemed necessary by the group) 1:30 pm Arrival at Okanagan Park Mall 4:30 pm Check in to Fairfield Marriott Hotel 250-763-2800 6:00 pm Dinner/Desert at Joey's 250-860-8999 8:00 pm Return to Fairfield Marriott Hotel 10:00pmRoom Check/Lights Out

Monday May 1st 7:30 am Complimentary breakfast on site 7:45 am Board bus in LVR dance attire (ladies hair + make-up done) 8:30 am Arrival at Creekside Theatre 10241 Bottom Wood Lake Rd, Lake Country, BC 9 am Festival Begins. 2:30 pm Awards 2:45 pm Board Bus 3:10 pm Arrival in Kelowna (30 minute stop at Orchard Park Mall for food) 3:30 pm Departure 7:30-7:45 pm Arrival in Nelson

The trip fee will be due no later than April14th. Please submit trip fees to Mrs. Buss in the office. Please ensure that you attend all rehearsals leading up to this trip as this is a team effort.

NB. More information on our flower sales fundraiser will be available soon. Selling flowers this year helps to offset travel costs for 2017.
