CAMP AMIGO Charity Project
The children who attend Camp Amigo for burn victims are given upon arrival a back pack filled with “goodies” such as T-shirts, mugs, etc. After speaking with the directors, we agreed that a pillowcase would be an excellent item for the goody bag. So, I am asking all quilter’s to raid their stash and contribute to this worthwhile charity project. I have provided two links for directions on how to make them. It will only take just a few minutes of time to leave a lasting smile on the face of a child! Any completed pillowcases can be given to Cathy Jones until our June Guild meeting as the camp takes place in July. Let’s Sew!!

The pillowcases will be used for children between the ages of 6-16, boys and girls, so it would be good to have a variety of age appropriate fabric selections. There will be 50 campers.
Once the pillowcase is made, please wash and press. Place in a zip-lock bag to distribute. (These are for burn victims, so we want them to be free of extra chemicals which are on the fabric from the store).
