Equipment is defined as tangible nonexpendable personal property having a useful life of more than one year and an acquisition cost of $5000 or more per unit. Examples of possible disposition include: property sold and required proceeds returned to the Federal Government; title to property transferred to Federal Government or eligible non-Federal party; property retained for the furtherance of objectives for which grant funds were awarded, etc. Property disposition information can be found in Title 45 Code of Federal Regulations Part 74, Section 74.32 – 74.37 and Part 92, Subparts C and D.
