Dorgard provides a wire-free solution for legally holding open fire doors in any position.

Automatic night-time release facility
Battery operated, and fails safe when batteries expire
If you are one of the guilty ones and wedge your office door open. You must check with the University Fire Safety Advisor as to whether your location is suitable.
They can be purchased from City Electrical Factors who are a recognised University supplier. Local Kemptown branch will still supply us at £80 + vat (at this time, subject to review in near future, list price £129)
The school or department ordering is responsible for cost and maintenance (batteries are simple to fit)
You can contact your site technical officer to arrange fitting and testing (testing can only be done when the fire alarm operates, so after installation it should be tested during the weekly alarm test. Dorgard then self-tests every 7 days.)
