Copyright License Agreement for Submissions to Teaching Issues and Experiments in Ecology (TIEE) Ecological Society of America

The Copyright Owner identified below hereby grants to the Ecological Society of America (ESA) the nonexclusive worldwide right and license to reproduce, edit, copy, publish, and distribute the material(s) identified below, in any and all media (including but not limited to electronic, print, video, audio, and any other technology now known or that may be developed in the future), and to authorize others to do the same. This license is given in consideration for having the material(s) identified below included in TIEE on the World Wide Web. The Copyright Owner understands that users of TIEE will be downloading and copying materials in TIEE.

The Copyright Owner hereby represents and warrants that he or she owns the copyright to the material(s), and has the authority to grant this nonexclusive license. The Copyright Owner further represents and warrants that the material(s) are original and that the exercise of the rights granted hereunder will not infringe any other person’s or entity’s copyright or other proprietary rights. The Copyright Owner will indemnify and hold ESA harmless from all costs and damages, including attorneys’ fees, arising from third party claims of rights in the material(s) identified below.

ESA agrees to give the Copyright Owner appropriate credit in all ESA reproductions, copies, and publications of the material(s). While users of TIEE will be asked to give such credit, ESA will have no control over such uses. ESA therefore makes no representations concerning the usage, including any credits, of materials by users of TIEE and disclaims any liability stemming from such usage.
