Funding is through an appropriated account, and is part of the on-going budget for the library. Each subscription has its individual price—the $160,000 is for an open purchase order that will cover the costs of all databases throughout the year. Most database pricing is based on number of student FTE. The amount increases annually based on number of students, also price increases. This is the first year the cost has reached the threshold that requires Trustee approval.

Recommendation UVU Administration recommends approval of the open purchase order for Ebsco library subscription services of $160,000.
