Dear Junior Lifeguard Program Families

Dear Junior Lifeguard Program Families,

Thank you for signing up for one of our Junior Lifeguard sessions. We have an exciting week planned and are confident that your child will have an unforgettable experience! Our goal is to provide campers with a safe, enriching, and educational program experience in their own backyard – the East Bay Regional Parks!

If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact me at (510) 690-6624 or by email at [email protected]. We look forward to seeing you this summer!

Sincerely,

Aaron Roth, Aquatic Assistant Lifeguard Service Unit

REQUIRED FORMS Program Waiver (download from www.eblifeguard.org/juniorlifeguards or the link on your receipt) * Bring completed waiver on the first day of the session * Pay special attention to the section where parents determine if their child may leave the beach on their own at the end of each day. If you require your child to be picked up by a parent or guardian, please realize that for their safety you or a guardian must pick them up at the beach rather than meet them in the parking lot.

TIMES 9:00am-4:00pm * Parents may drop their child off as early as 8:30am and pick-up no later than 4:30pm * A late fee will be charged if your child is picked up at/after 4:31pm

LOCATION Please meet at the concession building located near the beach at the Main Parking Lot on Otis Street. You will see a check-in table set up near several blue tents

WE WILL IMMEDIATELY NOTIFY PARENTS/GUARDIANS IF ANY OF THE FOLLOWING OCCUR:  Your child gets sick or is seriously injured  Your child seriously violates camp rules  There is a major emergency UNIFORM POLICY  All Junior Lifeguards must wear the required uniform for camaraderie and safety.
