LIBRARY: Each day until Sharon Draper arrives we will have a Sharon Draper Trivia contest question. Winners will receive a copy of one of her books. Today’s question is: Name the third book in the Hazelwood High Trilogy - Tears of a Tiger, Forged by Fire and… Write the answer and your name on a slip of paper and place it in the contest jar in the library. Yesterday's question was: The quote on the wall of the Memorial Library Learning Commons – “…don’t be afraid to dream beyond where you can see.” – is from what Sharon Draper book? The answer is - The Battle of Jericho . There was no winner for Monday.

BLACK HISTORY MONTH: Today’s trivia question is: On February 1, 1960, four black students begin a sit-in at a segregated Woolworth's lunch counter. Six months later the "Greensboro Four" are served lunch at the same Woolworth's counter. The event triggers many similar nonviolent protests throughout the South. What state did this take place in? Students that know the answer should write it on a sheet a paper and place it in the Pandora Bag in the library. One name will be pulled as the winner. See Ms Hughley to collect your prize.
