1. JSNA and Data Compendium RW gave a background to the JSNA in Southampton. SL raised a query about linking with the JSNA process in SW Hants as commissioning is linking more across this patch. RW reported that there is already some liaison with JSNA processes in other areas of SHIP and it would be a good idea to share practice and develop consistent approaches but that JSNA have to be ‘local’ and will be determined by the H&WB Boards.

2. Group members explaining the data/information and analysis they are involved with Each member of the group gave an overview of the data/information they work with and the types of analysis they do. The minutes record just a summary of what was mentioned:-

ACTIONS: All to include RW on circulation list for regular reports, profiles etc so that these can be linked to JSNA.

3. Draft Terms of Reference The draft ToR were discussed. The following issues were raised: - Analysts meetings should be topic based according to the timetable of updates to be agreed by the Strategic Group but the members felt alcohol and diabetes could be important first topics to be dealt with. - The importance of having a timeline, celebrating successes and reporting progress was mentioned more than once. This will be taken to the strategic group.

ACTIONS: RW to raise timetable, topics and progress reporting with the strategic group

- CB mentioned that having one linked up data warehouse would be ideal. - PJ asked that dealing with information governance and data sharing be on the agenda for the analyst group. RW said that she would look at the model that had been adopted in Portsmouth and what other work had been done in SCC. - SL asked that analysts flag up any new findings to come out of regular analysis and monitoring. - SL raised the issue of timing of meeting with respect to the commissioning cycle. RW agreed that the next strategic meeting should be used to highlight any priorities for action from current JSNA.

ACTIONS: RW to investigate Portsmouth Data Sharing Protocols VM to send details of data sharing contact person at SCC All to alert the group to any emerging findings that come out of regular analysis and monitoring
