Scope and Contents Notes

The holograph records are most likely the Yukon Territory’s 1901 census, salvaged from the S. S. Islander after the steamer sank twelve miles south of Juneau on August 15, 1901. On one sheet the name of enumerator, Coutts, is visible. Parts of the records are illegible
