Allan Webster - Contemporary Country Music Singer/Songwriter (supporting the Braveharts) Allan Webster, who is originally from Wallasey, England, and is now based in Millicent, has had a long involvement in music. He began his musical education on violin and graduated to playing guitar. Allan has been involved in bands since his early teens and was fortunate enough to be able to perform in the same venues, such as the famous Cavern, as the Beatles, Gerry & The Pacemakers & The Searchers. He emigrated to Australia in 1964 with his parents and 7 siblings, residing in Whyalla until 1977, where he formed and played in many successful bands which also backed major touring artists such as John Farnham, Marcia Hines, and Freddy & The Dreamers, just to name a few.

Relocating to Millicent in 1977 with his young family didn’t affect his musical ambitions and soon after he was an integral part of many cabaret bands. Switching the old “Mersey Sound” for a country twang in 1999 proved to be a wise career move for Allan resulting in him winning the S.A Champion of Champions of country music. This in turn lead him to embark on recording and to date has four albums to his credit. Retirement QuickTime™ and a decompressor are needed to see this picture.

has given him the opportunity to tour most states, including Tasmania and New Zealand, and has become a very popular solo performer, who also calls upon some great instrumentalist’s to form a band whenever needed.

Allan however only performs a few times a year in his local area, and they are mainly for fundraiser’s which has seen him raise well over $20,000 in the last few years for varied charities. Allan is a very professional performer with a dynamic voice and energetic stage presence who loves to entertain, which is reflected in his performances. He is available for festivals and country music events and further information can be found on his website, www.allanwebster.wordpress.com
