By Sept. 14 Students complete and submit GCPS GHP Student Application forms provided from Mrs. Burke. Applications must include a copy of course history and current schedule. These can be printed from the Parent Portal. (Please use the “printable version” of the course history). Please paper clip, don’t staple.
September 26 Students will be notified if they have been selected to interview at the county level. Interview times will be provided. Fine Arts schedules will be sent later.

November 18 GOSA online application opens for student nominees January 4, 2017 Deadline for completed online student nomination forms, including all required documents and files
January 27 GOSA notification of semi-finalist by email and including scheduled interview times
February 3 Notification of State level semi-finalist interviews/audition times
February 25 State level semi-finalists interviews: locations TBA
March 31 Notification of GHP 2017 Finalist and Alternates
April 7 GHP 2017 Finalist Acceptance Deadline
April 12 Parents/legal guardian emailed online link to required student forms
May 5 Deadline for parent/legal guardian online completion of required student forms
May 19 Last day for GOSA to invite alternates.
June 18 – July 15 Summer 2017 Governor’s Honor Program at Berry College, Rome, GA
