“Informed by the information available, the following decisions were taken by the Harpenden Town Councillors. Those Councillors who are also serving on the District Council will also consider the matter afresh at district level in the light of all the evidence including the relevant officer’s report”.

1. APPOINTMENT OF CHAIRMAN

Councillor Rosemary Farmer was elected as Chairman of the Committee.

2. APOLOGIES FOR ABSENCE

Apologies for absence were received from Councillors Dr Frosh and Thomas. Councillor Chambers substituted Councillor Dr Frosh on the Committee.

3. DISCLOSURES OF INTEREST

There were no disclosures of interest.

4. MINUTES OF THE PLANNING B COMMITTEE HELD ON 29 APRIL 2014.

The Minutes of the meeting held on 29 April 2014, previously circulated, were duly signed as a correct record.

There were no public questions.

10. PLANNING RECOMMENDATION ANALYSIS REPORT

The Committee were pleased with the Planning Recommendation Analysis Report and stated that over the period of years the matches made by both the Committee and the officers recommendations against the St Albans District Council’s decisions were favourable.

11. DRAFT POLICY STATEMENT 2014-2015

The Committees recommended changes to the Draft Policy Statement for recommending to Council are attached as APPENDIX B

12. LIST OF WEEKLY ST ALBANS DISTRICT COUNCIL DECISIONS

The Committee noted the list of delegated decisions.

13. APPLICATION FOR TREE WORKS

The applications for tree works were noted by the Committee.
