(be able to conjugate the verb in the present tense) Yo las tiendo. (be able to replace the direct object with the correct object pronoun) Me toca a mí (it’s my turn to) tenderlas. (be able to attach it to the infinitive when necessary) Me toca a mí tender las camas = It’s my turn to make the beds It can be rewritten as Me toca a mí tenderlas = It’s my turn to make them. I make the beds = Tiendo las camas. Las camas can be replaced with a direct object pronoun: Las tiendo. Paso la aspiradora…La paso. Lavo el coche…Lo lavo. Barre el piso = He / She is sweeping the floor….Lo barre = He or she is sweeping it.
