INSTRUCTIONS FOR ABSTRACT SUBMISSION
(You may wish to print these instructions for reference) 1. Abstracts should be informative, containing: (a) the study's specific objectives, unless given by the title; (b) brief statement of methods, if pertinent; (c) summary of results obtained; and (d) statement of the conclusions. 2. Please choose the type of presentation among asia-pacific symposium, international session (1.anastomotic leakage with infection, 2. antimicrobial resistance), or free paper (Poster). 3. The title should be as brief as possible but should be long enough to indicate clearly the nature of the study. 4. Tables and figures are permitted within the space. 5. Abstracts are subject to approval by the Academic Committee. An abstract may be rejected for publication either because is uninformative or because of errors, such as incorrect abbreviations, misspelled words or failure to follow the instructions for typing. 6. FORMAT INSTRUCTIONS 1. Use a font size of at least 11 point. Do not use compressed type or any other type which is less than 11 points. 2. The entire abstract (title, text and acknowledgments) must fit on one page of the abstract submission document. 3. Leave no margins within the document. Short abstracts should not be centered in the typing space. DO NOT DOUBLE SPACE. 4. The names of authors should follow, FIRST INITIAL followed by LAST NAME. 5. The name of institution and country should be stated after the list of authors. 6. Omit degrees, titles and institutional appointments for authors. After listing all authors, give the name and location of the institution where the work was done. For uniformity and ease of communication, abbreviate names of states and include Mail Codes. 7.
