Gerund or infinitive?

1 You are all great at (apply) ...... grammar rules to exercises.

2 The question is whether you like (do) ...... this kind of exercise.

3 Whatever, you will just have (go) ...... through this.

4 Try (see) ...... the positive side of it: you will get a better command of English, and I am sure you would regret (not do) ...... these exercises later on in life, when your boss will tell you that you are absolutely awful at (write) ...... English.

5 I know, (see) ...... this at your age is not so easy. You woiuld probably prefer (go) ...... to the cinema to (study) ...... grammar this afternoon. But just believe me, this is important for you (know) ......

6 Don't forget (study) ...... the vocabulary bank about "work", when you prepare for the test.

7 Some students are afraid of (ask) ...... questions in class, because they think that they risk (get) ...... a nasty remark by the teacher. But this is nonsense, you should never be afraid (ask) ......

8 Where is my DVD? – Oh, erm, sugar, my brother has still got it. I completely forgot (give) ...... it to him. You'll get it tomorrow.

9 I'd prefer (leave) ...... now, common, let's (go) ...... – All right, let me just (finish) ...... my drink, ok?
