Flood Bucket Drive

The East Ohio Conference Mission Awareness committee is sponsoring a Flood Bucket and Health Kit Drive at Annual Conference this year.

The Midwest Mission Distribution Center will have a truck at Annual Conference to accept donations. They will then carry the buckets and kits back to their distribution center to be used wherever they are needed.

We at WFUMC will focus on Flood buckets this year. Any of the following items may be donated as you see fit. The funds received from the May Noisy Collection will also be used to purchase any missing items. Please have your items in by Sunday, June 15. Let’s see how many buckets we can fill starting with a minimum of Four (4)!!!

FLOOD BUCKET contents: Each bucket should contain::

5-Gallon Bucket w/lid 2 pair latex gloves 5 Scouring Pads 1 pair work gloves 7 Sponges 18 Cleaning Towels (reusable wipes) 1 Scrub Brush 1 Insect repellant spray 6-14 oz can 1 household cleaner 1 Air freshener 8 or 9 oz can Bleach (two one quart or one 82 oz bottle) Liquid Laundry Detergent 50 Clothes Pins (two 25 oz or one 50 oz bottle) Disinfectant dish soap (16-28 oz bottle) 24 bag roll or heavy-duty trash bags 33-45 5 Dust Masks gallon Clothes line (two 50 ft or one 100 ft) (remove roll from box before placing in bucket)
