JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for setting up, clearing and pre-bussing tables, stocking all service stations and assisting Servers with table service to ensure total guest satisfaction. Maintains beverage bars throughout Hotel and Spa. Maintain the salad and mocktail bars.

Percentage of ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: time spent on each task.  Responsible for the maintenance of the dining room tables. 25  Clears dirty table setting, prepares table for resetting and resets all service ware promptly and consistently as prescribed.  Transports all dirty tableware from the dining room to dishwashing area for proper cleaning.  Assists Servers in clearing dishes and replacing silverware between each course.  Maintains various service stations throughout the property. 25  Maintains stock and cleanliness of stations for all meal periods with necessary equipment, including silverware, linen and condiments.  Sets up and maintains salad bar(s).  Sets up and maintains various beverage bars throughout the Hotel, and room service to guests.  Sets up and maintains “mocktail” beverage bar outside the Dining Room throughout the evening. Performs general cleaning tasks using standard hotel cleaning products as assigned by supervisor to  15 adhere to health standards. Performs duties as requested, such as cleaning unexpected spills or special guest requests, to ensure total guest satisfaction. Ensures that all bussers’ side work is completed as detailed on the work chart.  15 Greets guests promptly and politely; pours water.  10 Performs other job-related duties as needed or directed.  10

OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:  Reports problems or complaints to supervisor.  Understands and actively practices Canyon Ranch PJICANN Service Standards.  Adheres to uniform and grooming standards as set by the Dining Room.  Support management by following direction.  Stay positive and open minded.  Support fellow team members.

 Experience: Previous food and beverage experience preferred.  Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:  Possess clear communication skills.  Able to effectively speak and understand English.  Efficient, organized, personable.  Must be alert, safety conscious and have exceptional attention to detail.  Knowledge of appropriate table settings and service ware preferred.  Physically able to stand for long periods of time, also able to grasp, lift and/or carry or otherwise transport up to 50 pounds on a tray through a crowded room.  Stays calm under pressure.
