2 CLUBS AND GROUPS

STITCH AND WHINE Stitch and Whine meets the second Thursday every month at 7 PM at the Clubhouse. All are welcome to bring whatever needle arts (crocheting, knitting, embroidery, etc.) project they are working on. If you need help with a project or want to learn to knit or crochet someone in the group will be able to help! Come join us!

SOCIAL PLANNERS

Please come to our event planning meetings on the 1st Monday every other month to join in on the planning of upcoming events. However, the next Social Planners’ meeting is scheduled for October 10, 2016 at 7 PM in the Clubhouse. Hope to see you there - we look forward to new people and new ideas. Thank you.

Here are a few reminders regarding Social Planners’ events: . * Greenview residents’ significant others and home health care providers may now attend our Clubhouse events. Outside guests can attend, with chairperson approval, once all community members have signed up and space is available. No one under 21 can attend as we serve alcohol at many events.

* The Committee Chair for each event is responsible for announcing information about the event in the Spotlight newsletter and on the Greenview Grapevine and well as providing date and time information for entering into our community calendar. Calendar updates go to Bill Brown. His email address is: [email protected]. In addition, we have purchased an easel with markers and erasers to be used to advertise upcoming events in the Clubhouse. The chair of each event should update it each month to keep our neighborhood informed, especially for those that do not read email.

 Sponsors of Clubhouse parties/events that are not coordinated through or associated with the Social Planners will need to absorb all costs incurred with their party or event, independent of the Social Planners.

COMMUNICATION IN THE SIGNATURE CLUB AT GREENVIEW Communication in our community continues to be implemented on the Signature Club at Greenview website www.SignatureClubGreenview.com. At this website you will find information about our community and a calendar of events. Our official community calendar is located on the website, with an additional calendar posted in the Clubhouse for your convenience, as well as copies of the website calendar. The newsletter no longer maintains calendar pages.

In addition, an easel has been set up in the Clubhouse in an effort to get the word out about upcoming events.

The convenience of the website calendar is that information can be updated on a daily basis. Once you are on the website calendar, you will be able to get more information on an event if you place your cursor over the item. Another page will pop up with information such as the cost, contact person, time, and directions if not at Clubhouse. If you are scheduling an event in the community, or for announcements please contact Bill Brown at [email protected] to list your information on the website calendar and in the Grapevine. The Grapevine will still be used to remind residents of upcoming events and to change /modify events. Contact Jim Bronder at [email protected] for Grapevine announcements.

GREENVIEW DIRECTORY To be listed in the Greenview Directory, please contact Jim Bronder at [email protected].
