Project Background and Construction Conditions: Zhujiajian International Yacht Port is located at the gateway of Yangtze River Delta, and the area is interspersed with many islands and ports, with slow stream and deep water, wide coastal line, good shelter from the wind as well as favorable conditions for building docks; the climate of four seasons are mild, with abundant rainfall, summer not extremely hot and winter not extremely cold. The sunlight is adequate here, and the average annual sunshine is 1941 to 2257 hours, with an average annual temperature about 16℃.The east of the base is the famous scenic spot “Ten-mile Golden Sand”, whose total length is 6.3 km, area is 1.44 km2, slope is 2° to 5°. The sea area, whose water depth is less than 2m, occupies 3.26 km2 and stretches from the northeast to the southeast coast. The transport is convenient, since it only takes 15 minutes to the commercial center of Zhoushan, only several minutes to Zhoushan Putuo Mountain Airport. The surrounding tourism resources are rich, including Buddhism Shrine in Sea and Heaven—Putuo Mountain, Blue Sea and Golden Sand—Zhujiajian, Fishing Port Seafood—Shenjiamen, Taohua Legend—Taohua Island, the landscape of archipelago, Penglai Magical Island—Daishan, Fortress of Ancient City— Dinghai, which provide powerful guarantee of customer source for the development of yacht industry. Since it situates within the economy rim of Yangtze River Delta, the consuming power of the surrounding cities is relatively high, the market of yacht industry is bound to be bright. In addition to the advantage of lying near the Zhoushan Airport, Hangzhou Bay Sea-crossing Bridge and Zhoushan Mainland-Island Bridge will connect Zhujiajian with Ningbo and Shanghai by land, making the traffic more convenient, so it is the most proper area to develop yacht industry in Yangtze Delta Region. Project Coverage: The base situates in the Xi’ao Zhujiajian, with an estimated area of 2000 mu (1 mu≈667m2), capacity of over 500 yachts of different sizes and qualifies as a shelter from typhoon of more than 12 grades. It is set up with Yacht Club, Exhibition Center, Luxury Club, five-star hotel, Train school for yacht driving and other supplementary facilities, and suitable for the whole-day docking and supplement of all kinds of yachts.
