The Revd David Willey from St Peter’s Church, Farnborough, had a visit from his local police officer recently with this unusual request, following the discovery of two statues in a local lock-up garage. The police are trying to find out if any local churches are missing them from their graveyard. The statues are about two feet high with a square base that gives the impression that they had been buried in the ground. Anyone with helpful information should contact PC Mark Hoban [email protected]
