Kenneth: (The bell has just rung. Everyone has gathered up together and has begun talking)

Armoni: You peep that out Chris? O girl lookin at you. You better get her.

Chris: I don’t know man, we been talking for awhile but she actin hard to get.

Armoni: (Facing Chris) Boy if I was you, I’d be hittin that now

Marlon: Naw man don’t listen to him. Armoni you always be in female drama. (Facing Chris) That’s the last thing you need. I been there!

Armoni: How you gonna listen to him? (Pointing at Marlon) Now that you slowed down on women you think you know everything. Chris you better go get her before somebody else do. It might be me!

Chris: You must be sick. She don’t want you. She got a man.

Armoni: And who is that?

Chris: (Laughing) Me stupid. I’m a go talk to her after school.

(Armoni walks to class)

Marlon: It’s not worth it. Take it slow. You don’t have to rush anything. You don’t know if she has a disease or if she messes with everybody.

Chris: You right but I got ta follow my rep. You know how it is. Well you did.

Marlon: Exactly and that’s why I’m saying don’t do it. She may bring you a lot of drama.

Chris: I’m not worried. It hasn’t happn’d before so I doubt it’s gonna happen.

(Cynthia and Maria Together)

Maria: There goes Shakisha.

Cynthia: I know she think she so fine.

Maria: She needs to stop putting herself out there because these boys are dogs. They just want the bone. (Maria and Cynthia walk to Shakisha)

Cynthia: Hey Girl!

Kisha: What up

Maria: I see you was peepn Chris.

Kisha: Yeah he be so nice and he be treating me right

(Bambi walks in)

Maria: You better be careful wit him.

Bambi: Yeah don’t rush anything

Cynthia: Let her do what she wants. She’s not a baby.

Bambi: Boys are gonna think you’re fast. Take it slow, even if he is treating you good. He could want anything.

Maria: All this boy talk. You need to worry about school and being someone. (Maria starts walking to class)

Cynthia: Go get your man.

(They all walk to class)

Armoni: What happened last night?

Chris: You should know.

Marlon: O my! You done messed up.

Chris: Marlon, I don’t want to hear it.

Armoni: Let Chris breathe. So what happened? You hit it!

Walter: OK you wild. I hope you used protection.

Cynthia: I heard you let him go to the crib.

Bambi: Shakisha I hope not!

Maria: Everyone knows he did.

Kisha: I can’t believe he told everyone! I thought I could trust him.

Bambi: You could have done better.

Cynthia: (Ha/Ha) you doin too much

(Everyone goes to class)

(Maria and Shakisha on stage, Cynthia behind curtain)

Maria: (Calling Cynthia and putting her on speaker) What up girl?

Cynthia: Nothin, I told you Shakisha thought she was somethin. That’s why her name is all over the school. She needs Jesus!

Shakisha: Girl you need Jesus!

Cynthia: Who is that?

Maria: (Laughing) Shakisha walked into the room, I’ll call you back.

Walter Speaks…….. (At school a few weeks later)

(Chris and Shakisha on stage)

Chris: I didn’t tell anyone. What’s wrong?

Kisha: I gotta tell my mom.

Chris: Marlon what do I do? I got a baby on the way.

Marlon: You gotta grow up. There’s no more time for fun. You should have done right.

Chris: Now I understand why you put school and sports first.

Marlon: I don’t mind dating but I don’t want women to get in the way of my goals and sports.

(Armonti and Walter walk in)

Chris: I gotta get a job

Armoni: You sure do

Chris: Shut up! I shouldn’t have listened to you.

Walter: You straight man? I heard the news.

Marlon: How you here it so soon?
