Committees

 Parent Celebration- 77 People signed up to eat with children for Parent Luncheon. Piggly Wiggly donating dessert for Parent Luncheon and staff are providing tea.

Basket Raffle items are ready and tickets will be on sale soon.

Coin Drive- Winning class will receive a prize

Can PTO money be split so that committees receive some money each year for supplies? TBA

 Awards Committee- Nothing to report

 Student Celebration Committee- Nothing to report

 PTSO/ Parent Contacts- New Parent contact sheets were put in teachers’ boxes. Nothing to report on PTSO

Meeting

 New Duty Roster sent out so PreK kids will have someone with them every morning for breakfast

 Considering having Fall Festival as a fundraiser next year. May have hay rides, games, bounce houses and video game systems. Maybe not trick or treating

 Holiday Program- December 1st at 6:30 pm with the PTSO meeting before. Also will have program on December 2nd at 9:00 am

 Santa will be here on December 16th. Each grade level will be called for their turn starting at 9:00 am

 Staff Holiday Party- Thursday, December 15th at 6:00pm at FLK. Calling Smithfield to see if they can cater. We will have a game for the staff

 Every volunteer for the classrooms must undergo a background check

 Suggestion- We need a wheelchair accessible to students on campus in case of an emergency. Mrs. Allen looking in to this

 School age students are not allowed to be physically picked up when loading and unloading from the bus.

 One of our school improvement goals is to build staff morale. Suggestions for building morale- The first Friday of every other month the staff could go out to dinner together. Do something on workdays or early dismissal days. Go to Defy Gravity, ropes course or ziplining. Any other suggestions welcome
