JUNE 5th, 6th, 7th 2012
The Training Camp is designed to teach you to stay in good position while attacking or reacting to your opponents’ first move. Techniques will be shown in all positions with an emphasis on scoring points and working for the pin.
Coach Tobias is the current assistant wrestling coach for Alma College in Michigan. He has been a coaching at the high school and college level for the past 7 years. He has coached several high school as well as college all Americans. Prior to coaching he attended the University of Michigan where he was a 3X varsity letter winner and holds the career and season record for pins. Coached Tobias prepped at Manchester high school in Michigan where he was a 4X state champion.
Coach Yezarski has over 20 years experience in the Granby School of Wrestling. One of the top technicians in the country he has coached several high school and college All- Americans. Coach Y believes in scoring the first takedown and scoring 5 points from the bottom position. Currently coaching at the Wrestling Warehouse his weekend workouts often draw wrestlers from over 100 miles away. Coach Y and Coach Tobias helped found Wilmington’s Port City Wrestling Club.
Working together Coach Tobias and Coach Y will teach you to score big points from every position! Infusing a Granby Style takedown and bottom work system with the topwork of an elite DI NCAA competitor, coaches and wrestlers will be able to incorporate these principles of wrestling into their current practices and see immediate results!
The camp will only accept 100 wrestlers; you must register for the camp by mail or email. Send your information to me ASAP; we will sell out of quickly. Once the camp is full we will accept no other entries, so lock down your spot today! The camp will be Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday and consist of two 2-hour sessions for maximum retention of all techniques taught and drilled. The first session will begin at 10am and end at 12pm, we will then break for lunch for 1 hour, and then will resume at 1pm and conclude at 3pm.
Technique Camp is conducted in a drill-type format held at Glynn Academy Gymnasium on June 5th 6th, and 7th, 2012. Each day will consist of two sessions. These sessions are limited to 100 devoted wrestlers to ensure that quality attention is being given to each wrestler, and will be filled on a first-come-first-served basis, and I can tell you that these camps sell out very quickly, so make sure to secure your spot as fast as possible. These sessions will be restricted for wrestlers in grades 5-12; wrestlers with some experience are encouraged (exceptions will always be made on an individual basis). Payment for the three day camp will be $100.00 per person. This is an outstanding deal for the price. Make checks out to the Glynn Academy Wrestling for payment. Camp Location: Glynn Academy High School Gymnasium, 1001 Mansfield Street, Brunswick, GA 31520
