Summer School Teacher Orientation June 19, 2014 Agenda

Coffee & Pastries/Introductions 7:00 – 7:40 a.m.

Summer School Info and Expectations 7:40 – 8:10 a.m.  Building Hours – 7:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Monday- Thursday

 Face-to-Face teacher hours – 7:15 a.m. – 1:15 p.m. Monday-Thursday

 Daily Schedule for F-2-F High School: Middle School: Early Bell 7:25am Early Bell 7:25am Block 1 7:30-9:00am Block 1 7:30-9:15am 1st Break 9:00-9:10am 1st Break 9:15-9:30am Block 2 9:10-11:00am Block 2 9:30-11:15am 2nd Break 11:00-11:15am 2nd Break 11:15-11:30am Block 3 11:15am-1:00pm Block 3 11:30am-1:00pm The commons will have snacks and drinks available for students to purchase. Students are to be escorted to and from the commons by teachers during breaks.

 Fire Drill  Student Discipline – Teacher will make parental contact prior to administrative involvement, unless students’ actions require immediate administrative involvement.

 Course Syllabi due to Chris Martinez by Friday June 20, 2014 at 12 p.m.

 Teachers should park in the Atlee parking lot adjacent to Atlee Station Road and enter the building through the Front entrance or side entrance in the mornings before 7:30 a.m. Teachers may enter the building through the front entrance after 7:30 a.m.

 The workroom will be in the 800’s and copier code is 9414. Should you need assistance with copier or need additional paper please contact Chris Martinez. All laptops that are in rooms will be set up for printing to the 800’s printer.

 Room equipment – laptops, LCD, calculators, etc.

Keys, Texts, and Emergency Packets 8:10 – 8:30 a.m.

Planning 8:30 – 1:15 p.m.  During this time you can work on the following –  Syllabus for your course  Copying  Outline for pacing  Course setup  Room setup
