Scope of Work

Antenna mounting bracket must be supplied & fitted on the tower during construction as follows:  Install 1 bracket, with their center lines, 0.5 m above the 20 m landing platform, one towards Devon RS. The exact positions will be discussed later with the successful supplier.

Site information:

1. The tower position is on flat terrain, supply tower & foundation for the correct terrain category. 2. The site for the tower installation is allocated out site a HV yard, but inside the substation. 3. The tower contractor must install a proper tower earth mat for this site. The tower earth in the foundation and the down conductor must be bonded together and copper welded to the substation earth mat. 4. Excavation material can be used on site as filling as far as possible, but any excess material must be removed from site and disposed of at a registered dumping ground. 5. The Lebohang substation is ±1 km to Lesley town, in Mpumalanga province. 6. Vehicle access not a problem, adjacent to main tar road. 7. Concrete must be mixed by hand or by portable concrete mixer on site. 8. Accommodation is available at Lesley town
