SENIOR MARSHALLS CHECKLIST Ensure you are adequately clothed for several hours out on the hills.

Each team of Marshalls / Sweepers should also take the following on the hill : Mobile Phone – please register your number at Race Control prior to the race. (you will also be issued with the Race Emergency Number) Spare Warm Clothing Spare food and drink 1st Aid kit (this will be issued at Race Control) Blizzard/Bothy Bag

Please render assistance to any competitor who requires it. If in doubt call the Race Emergency Number. In cases of serious injury time is of the essence – please dial 999 and call the Emergency Services directly (Ambulance and Mountain rescue if required) informing them of the injury and your grid reference (on the slip issued to you by race control)... and then inform Race Control. If you have communication problems one marshall to stay with the injured party and the other to make for the closest telephone to call the Emergency Services and then Race Control.
