Pretty Group commenced it’s business in the year of 2001, currently employing over 17,000 people under the 12 sister concerns, capable of producing approximately 1.8M PCS of Sweaters per month. The company has business of AUTO BRICKS; REAL ESTATE; STEEL MILLS apart from RMG. Product Range

Sweater is no longer a warmth provider rather it’s become a fashion trend under the change of global climate. People are now more towards flat knits then it was ever before. The comfort & variety of designs in flat knits has given a new name to sweater industry. Now sweaters have been used as outwear & casual wear produced with both regular and nonconventional yarns.

Our product range is covering all kinds of Pullovers, Cardigans, Jumpers, Leggings, Hats, Scarves, Mufflers, etc in Fancy, Jacquard & Intarsia Knitting. We are also doing sweaters in Piece dye, Pigment dye, Acid wash, Stone wash, Enzyme wash, Space dye, Top dye, Dip dye, Tie dye,

We also got expertise to do set styles like sweater packed with shirt/T-shirt/Tights/trouser or integrated styles which are more into fashion now.

We do have our in-house embroidery unit and printing press to support the buyers with embellishment.

Quality Assurance

Pretty Group has its own quality assurance system to make top quality sweaters. Thru our effective Quality assurance & quality monitoring system, we are ensuring: a. reduction of the rework b. improvement of the productivity c. identify people who require more training to meet requirements.

Pretty Group is operating under the line manufacturing concept. The objective of this concept is to ensure zero defects in order to: a. be cost competitive b. reduce the wastage & c. increase the production efficiency.

We do also have checkpoint at all processes. We are testing raw materials for physical & chemical characteristics by reputed textile testing laboratories to ensure the materials are of high standard.

Pre final audit (QA) team carries out 100% pre-final inspection before offering them for final inspection by buyer’s QA.

We are targeting to have a complete metal free production place having each of the garments produced in PSL to be passed thru metal detection and kept under the C-TPAT regulations for safety & security.

Planning & Execution

Pretty Group has a strong production planning and capacity management team. The Capacity Management Team is worked hands in hands with Production and Marketing/Merchandising Department to avoid any over commitment, production backlogs and ensuring the delivery discipline.

We normally provide the capacity offer to the buyer at the beginning of the year & solicit feedback regarding capacity booking based on the lead-time planner of each product which helps us to plan & execute buyers’ order properly.

We do have a strong Indus trial engineering team lead by a qualified engineer from BUET. This team is guiding us to calculate the SMV, production time, time study, etc

We also have a European Designer, Technical/Production Advisers and a Team of 11 Production Management employee from Sri Lanka to take care of R&D, Production, Quality Management and Technical Requirement.

Business Ethics

Being socially responsible sweater manufacturer, Pretty Group has taken every precautionary steps to build a highly ethical, safe, healthy & hygienic work environment, complaint by all respects. Child Labor is not allowed. In addition, our generous spacing between machines makes the production floor more comfortable to work & aesthetically appealing.

We have clearly marked evacuation zones & routes for emergency exits; also ornamented this factory with electrical & fire safety equipments, for example: UL- certified fire hydrant, sprinkler system, automated & centralized fire detection & control system, fire door, etc.

Safe drinking water & hygienic toilets are provided in adequate numbers for all workers.

Pretty Group has been running business from last 14 years through less profit oriented but more on social commitment to workforce for their better living and skill and moral development. Consequence result is we have a sound discipline midlevel management & workforce.
