 Children have been introduced to ‘Scottish Culture’ through cross-curricular learning in preparation Successfor Criteria a whole Results school event on St Andrews Day – ‘ANext Celebration steps for of the Scottish children Culture’  Children, in groups, have researched the origins and design of tartan and compiled a mood board and proto-type tartan design.  Children have a working knowledge of the visual elements of Art and Design and the different media which can be used upon deployment of these elements. Artistic vocabulary has also been developed in relation to the visual elements.
