♫ Bridal Procession: Bridal March Fr. Martin: In the name of the father, and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. All: Amen. Fr. Martin: The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ and the love of God and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all. All: And also with you.
♫ Candle Ceremony: Claire de Lune – Debussy
Laura and Alan light two candles representing their coming here today as separate individuals.
Penitential Rite All: I confess to almighty God, and to you, my brothers and sisters, that I have sinned through my own fault, in my thoughts and in my words, in what I have done and in what I have failed to do; and I ask blessed Mary, ever virgin, all the angles and saints, and you, my brothers and sisters, to pray for me to the lord our God. Fr. Martin: May Almighty God have mercy on us, forgive us our sins, and bring us to everlasting life. All: Amen. Fr. Martin: Lord, have mercy- Mass of God’s People
The Gloria All: Glory to God in the highest, and peace to His people on earth. Lord God heavenly King, almighty God and Father, we worship you, we give you thanks, we praise you for your glory. Lord Jesus Christ, only Son of the Father, Lord God, Lamb of God, you take away the sin of the world: have mercy on us; you are seated at the right hand of the Father: receive our prayer. For you alone are the Holy One, you alone are the Lord, you alone are the Most High, Jesus Christ, with the Holy Spirit, in the glory of God the Father. Amen. Liturgy of the Word
First Reading A Reading from the First Letter of St. Paul to the Romans Jimmy: Let your love be genuine and sincerely prefer good to evil. Love one another with great affection and have a profound respect for one another. If you hope, this will make you cheerful. Do not give up if difficulties come, and keep on praying. Think of the needs of others. Seek to be compassionate and kind, humble and patient. Be tolerant with one another and be ready to forgive. The Lord forgives you so you must do the same. And on top of all these, be loving because love binds everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him. This is the word of the Lord. All: Thanks be to God. ♫Responsorial Psalm: On Eagles Wings - Gail Brady Second Reading A reading from St. Paul to the Corinthians Valerie: If I have all the eloquence of men or of angels, but speak without love, I am simply a gong booming or a cymbal clashing. If I have the gift of prophecy, understanding all the mysteries there are, and knowing everything, and if I have faith in all its fullness, to move mountains, but without love, then I am nothing at all. If I give away all that I possess, piece by piece, and if I even let them take my body to burn it, but am without love, it will do me no good whatever. Love is always patient and kind; it is never jealous; love is never boastful or conceited; it is never rude or selfish; it does not take offence, and is not resentful. Love takes no pleasure in other people's sins but delights in the truth; it is always ready to excuse, to trust, to hope, and to endure whatever comes. Love does not come to an end. This is the word of the Lord. All: Thanks be to God. Gospel Reading Fr. Martin: A reading from the Holy Gospel According to John All: Glory to you, lord. Fr. Martin: Jesus said to his disciples: 'As the Father has loved me, so I have loved you. Remain in my love. If you keep my commandments you will remain in my love, just as I have kept my Father's commandments and remain in his love. I have told you this so that my own joy may be in you and your joy be complete. This is my commandment: Love one another, as I loved you.' This is the Gospel of the Lord. All: Praise to you, Lord Jesus Christ.
Homily Please be seated.

All: We believe in one God, the Father, the Almighty, maker of heaven and earth, of all that is, seen and unseen. We believe in one Lord, Jesus Christ, the only Son of God, eternally begotten of the Father, God from God, Light from Light, true God from true God, begotten, not made, of one Being with the Father, Through him all things were made. For us men and for our salvation he come down from heaven: by the power of the Holy Spirit he became incarnate from the Virgin Mary, and was made man. For our sake he was crucified under Pontius Pilate; he suffered death and we buried. On the third day he rose again in accordance with the Scriptures; he ascended into heaven and is seated at the right hand of the Father. He will come again in glory to judge the living and the dead, and his kingdom will have no end. We believe in the Holy Spirit, the Lord, the giver of life, who proceeds from the Father and the Son. With the Father and the Son he is worshipped and glorified. He has spoken through the Prophets. We believe in one holy catholic and apostolic Church. We acknowledge one baptism for the forgiveness of sins. We look for the resurrection of the dead, and the life of the world to come. Amen.

Fr. Martin: Father, all-powerful and ever living God, we do well always and everywhere to give you thanks through Jesus Christ our Lord. Through him you entered into a new covenant with your people. You restored the human race to grace in the saving mystery of redemption. You gave us all a share in the divine life through our union with Christ. You made us heirs of Christ’s eternal glory. This outpouring of love in the new covenant of grace is symbolised in the marriage of covenant that seals the love of husband and wife and reflects your divine plan of love. And so, with all the angels and all the saints in heaven we proclaim your glory and join in their unending hymn of praise. All: Holy, holy, holy Lord, God of power and might, heaven and earth are full of your glory. Hosanna in the highest. Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord. Hosanna in the highest. Fr. Martin: Lord, you are holy indeed, the fountain of all holiness. Let your spirit come upon these gifts and make them holy, so that they may become for us the body and blood of Christ. Before he was given up to death, a death he freely accepted, he took bread, gave it to his disciples and said: TAKE THIS, ALL OF YOU, AND EAT IT: THIS IS MY BODY WHICH WILL BE GIVEN UP FOR YOU. When supper was ended, he took the cup. Again he gave you thanks and praise, gave the cup to his disciples and said: TAKE THIS, ALL OF YOU, AND DRINK FROM IT: THIS IS THE CUP OF MY BLOOD, THE BLOOD OF THE NEW AND EVERLASTING COVENANT. IT WILL BE SHED FOR YOU AND FOR ALL SO THAT SINS MAY BE FORGIVEN. DO THIS IN MEMORY OF ME. The Mystery of Faith Fr. Martin: Let us proclaim the mystery of faith: All: Christ has died, Christ has risen, Christ will come again. Fr. Martin: In memory of his death and resurrection, we offer you, Father, this life giving bread, this saving cup. We thank you for counting us worthy to stand in your presence and serve you. May all of us who share in the body and blood of Christ be brought together in unity of the Holy Spirit. Lord, remember your Church throughout the world: make us grow in your love, together with Benedict our Pope; Philip our Bishop and all who minister to your people. Remember Lord, Laura and Alan, whom you have brought to their wedding day, that, by your grace, they may always live in mutual love and peace. Remember our brothers and sisters who have gone to their rest in the hope of rising again, bring them and all the departed into the light of your presence. Have mercy on us all: make us worthy to share eternal life with Mary, the virgin mother of God, with the apostles, and with all the saints who have done your will throughout the ages. May we praise you and stand in union with them, and give you the glory through your Son, Jesus Christ. Through him with him, in him, in the unity of the Holy Spirit, all glory and honour is yours, almighty father, forever and ever. All: Amen Communion Rite
All: Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us, and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.
Nuptial Blessing Fr. Martin: Let us ask god to bless Alan and Laura, now married in Christ and unite them in his love. God our father, creator of the universe, you made man and woman in your own likeness, and blessed their union. We humbly pray to you for this bride and groom, today united in the sacrament of marriage. May your blessing come upon them.
