LDOLL SECOND-HAND SHOP GUIDE

1. Goods for sale:

The Ldoll Second-Hand Shop was created to allow individuals to sell doll accessories but it does not intend to replace the booking of a personal exhibitor space. Therefore, the number of items per seller and the price of the items is limited.

Items created by the sellers are not eligible to be sold in the Second-Hand Shop. Handmade creations should be sold on private exhibitor booths and it would not be fair to our exhibitors to allow self-handmade items in the Second-Hand Shop.

No item may exceed a selling price of 150 Euros. Each seller may only present up to 15 items.

For safety reasons and liabilities due to handling during the Festival, dolls and doll parts are not eligible to be sold in the Second-Hand Shop.

The Ldoll staff will not check that the items match the descriptions made by the seller on the application form. They will only check that no item is missing from the list when the seller hands them in for the day. The seller assumes all responsibility for the items he is selling. 2. Packing and handing in your items:

The seller must pack each item separately in transparent individual plastic bags (the bags must be zipped or closed with tape – the seller may use for instance freezer bags). The Ldoll staff will label each bag with the name of the seller and number of the item when the seller will hand in their items on the day of the Festival.

All items must be handed in on Saturday 6th and / or Sunday 7th October between 10:00 AM and 12:00 PM.

Item description forms and recap forms must be emailed for September 28th at the latest at the following address: [email protected]

No modification can be made once the forms are approved by our staff. No modification will be made, nor will any extra item be accepted on the day of the Festival.

3. Forms to fill:

Sellers must download and fill four item description forms where they list and describe their items, as well as a recap form with the entire list of their items. They can find these five forms on the official website of Ldoll Festival (http://ldollfestival.com).

These five pre-filled forms consist in:

- Four item description forms (one for outfits, one for wigs, one for shoes and ac- cessories, and one for eyes) in which the seller gives all details on their items (maker, size, color, condition, price, and picture).

- A recap form where they must list all their items for sale and corresponding prices.

You will also find a procedure a demo version of the filled recap form on our website to help you fill it adequately.

Sellers have the right to choose whatever price they want for their items. The Ldoll Staff may not change it at anytime.

All forms must be sent for September 28th at the latest at the following email address: [email protected]

All forms must be sent in Microsoft Word .doc format only.

You will receive a confirmation email that your participation was validated. If you would like to cancel your participation or if you are unable to attend, please email us to let us know.

Substitute sellers: If a seller can not attend the Festival, they may appoint someone to bring their items in their stead. Their substitute must provide the organizers with a signed authorization letter from the seller to hand in and take back their items and their money. Please print your validated recap form and bring it along with your items.

Should you be unable to attend the Festival or wish to cancel your participation, please try to inform us as soon as possible.

4. At the Festival:

Sellers must report to the ‘Ldoll Second-Hand Shop’ booth (“Stand Dépôt-Vente”) in the exhibition hall on Saturday between 10:00 AM and 12:00 PM and / or on Sunday between 10:00 AM and 12:00 PM. Sellers do not have to participate in the shop both days if they do not wish to.

During deposit, the Ldoll staff will use the recap form that the seller will have printed and brought along to check with them that all the listed items are present. The Ldoll staff will then label the items and will have the seller sign the form a first time.

At the end of the day or at any time after 12:00 PM, sellers can take back their unsold items. The staff will have them sign the recap form again. For safety and liability reasons, Ldoll can not keep the items overnight between Saturday and Sunday. All sellers, including those who participate in the shop both days, must recover their unsold items before closing time on the Saturday. Sellers choosing to sell on both days must bring back their unsold items on the Sunday between 10:00 AM and 12:00 PM.

The same procedure applies both days. All unsold items handed in on the Sunday must be taken back before closing time.

5. Terms and conditions:

The seller assumes full responsibility for their items matching the descriptions they themselves wrote on their application forms.

The seller assumes all responsibility should complaints arise from buyers regarding their items.

The seller may take back their items at any time before the Festival closing hours but solely after 12:00 PM on Saturday and after 12:00 PM on Sunday.

The Second-Hand Shop is responsible for looking after the items left in its custody during exhibition hours. In case of theft or loss, the Ldoll association will refund the seller according to the value declared for the sale on the application forms.

6. Payment:

The Ldoll staff will mark down every sale on their copy of the seller’s recap form. When the seller comes back to get their unsold items, they will be given the list and their total earnings. The staff of the Second-Hand Shop will hand them their money immediately along with any unsold item. Seller’s total earnings include the deduction of a 10% commission charge for Ldoll which will be calculated on the total of their sales.

Beware, due to the complexity of organizing this Second-Hand Shop and managing the items and the sales, Ldoll will not validate applications that do not follow the previously described procedure.

We thank you for your understanding!

The Ldoll Staff.
