Disregard anything else you may hear about the scheduling of my final exams.

Important notes: (1) I reserve the right to refuse anyone who arrives more than 15 minutes late admission to the exam. (2) If you "need" to take the exam at other than the scheduled time, you must go to the Undergraduate Studies Office and get a petition to do so. (This is a University regulation.) The petition must be approved by me and my Dept. Chairman.

2. Exam Format: For Econ. 2133, the exam will consist of 60 multiple-choice questions, worth 3 points each, for a total value of 180 points. For Econ. 5000, the exam will consist of questions similar in focus and style as the questions on the two regular exams and the course exercises, for a total value of 150 points. For all courses the exam is cumulative - anything we have covered on regular exams, quizzes, and problems throughout the semester is fair game. But there will be no "new" (unfamiliar) material on the exam.

3. Study Resources:  Econ 2133: There is no separate study guide for the final exam. You should use the regular exam study guides to focus your preparation for this exam. (If you are missing any study guides, get them from my course website – core.ecu.edu/econ/zinng). You may also come to my office to review the exams we had during the semester. Finally, the Aplia exercises you took during the semester will be available on the Aplia website throughout the finals period.  Econ 5000: Review your six class exercises and both exams.

Finals week office schedule: During the period Apr. 27– May 3 my office hours will be: Tue., Apr. 27and Thu., Apr. 29: 9 a.m. – noon; 1 – 3:15 p.m. Fri., Apr 30: 12:30 – 3:15 p.m.

Final letter grades only will be posted on Onestop within 48 hours of the final. If you wish to know details regarding your final exam score and grade, e-mail me at [email protected]
