The "Bergland Express"...

You can travel by daily scheduled train, of course. But in addition, a private company called TTC (TheTrainCompany) operates a weekly overnight ski train from Brussels to the Austrian Alps every Friday night from December until March. You can check train times, fares and book online at www.berglandexpress.com. The Bergland Express has 6-bunk and 4-bunk couchettes and 1- 2- & 3-bed sleepers, plus a bar car. Note that you can book individual bunks in the couchettes, but in sleepers the whole compartment must be booked. You cannot book one bed in a 3-bed sleeper, for example.

 Travel from London to Brussels by Eurostar, leaving London at 15:40 and arriving Brussels Midi at 18:57.

 The Bergland Express leaves Brussels Midi at 20:32 on Friday nights from December until mid-March, arriving next morning at Kufstein 09:25, Wörgl 09:38, Jenbach 10:00, Innsbruck 10:23, Kitzbühel 10:37, St Johann in Tirol 10:47, Zell am See 11:32.  The Bergland Express runs on Saturday nights from December until mid-March, leaving Zell am See at 18:07, St Johann in Tirol 18:52, Kitzbühel 19:02, Innsbruck 19:01, Jenbach 19:27, Wörgl 20:09, Kufstein 20:22, arriving Brussels Midi at 08:47 next morning.  Travel from Brussels to London by Eurostar, leaving Brussels Midi at 11:04 and arriving London Waterloo at 12:22.

Bergland Express fares start at 171 euros return, including couchette, though fares vary by date and type of accommodation. There are transfer buses for a small extra charge to ski resorts all over the Austrian Tyrol. You can check fares and book the Bergland Express online at www.berglandexpress.com. You can then book the Eurostar separately at www.eurostar.com (you may wish to do a 'dry run' to check Eurostar prices and availability before booking the Bergland Express).
