…...... …………………… 1. Only current Club members may apply for a permit to leave their boat at WKSC. Members may not apply on behalf of non-members. 2. Boat owners will be allocated a Class Zone in which they may leave their boat. Boats are no-longer allocated a designated berth. 3. Class Captains are responsible for their Class’s zone, under the guidance of the Yard Manager. 4. Non-class boats that are regularly sailed will be stored in a “Mixed Zone” under the direction of the Yard Manager. 5. No road-trailers are permitted in the Class Zone; this space is exclusively for boats on launching trolleys that sail regularly at WKSC. 6. After paying the yard fee, boats will be issued with a tag which must be attached to the front of the trolley. The boat must then be parked in the allocated zone, with the boat trolley clearly marked with both class and number. 7. Boat owners are responsible to ensure that their boats are tied down securely and the trolley is in an operable condition. 8. Junior fees only apply to boats that are raced/sailed exclusively by junior members. If raced/sailed by adults then full dinghy fees must be paid. 9. Boats that are not sailed regularly may be relocated to a “Storage Zone” at the discretion of the Yard Manager, to facilitate ease of access for boats which are sailed regularly. Boats may be racked in the Storage Zone. 10. Members wishing to store Combi or Road Trailers in the Yard may apply to the Yard Manager using a separate copy of this form. Trailers must not be left in the yard without explicit approval of the Yard Manager. Additional fees apply for each Combi/Road Trailers. 11. Any boat/trailer found in the in the yard that has not paid within one month of arrival may be relocated to storage racks and the Member liable to a surcharge of 50% for that season. 12. Boats/trailers remaining on the Club premises beyond the period paid for will incur a weekly charge at 50% above the standard rate. 13. Cruisers are laid up in the Yard between Sept and May each year. To assist the Club, all dinghy owners not taking part in the Winter and Frostbite series are encouraged to remove their dinghies from the yard if possible. Owners who are able to remove their boats from the yard by the 18th September 2017 (or 25th Sept17 if taking part in the Solo open), and who notify the Yard Manager/Office Administrator within 14days, will receive reimbursement by cheque at the following rate: £50 dinghies/£35 Illusions/£40 Junior

Declaration: I will be racing/sailing on a regular basis. I understand that yard space is at a premium and my boat may be relocated to storage racks or the designated Storage Zone if not used regularly or unless discussed in advance with the Yard Manager . Failure to comply with the terms of this form will result in a request to vacate the yard.

By completing and submitting this form I declare that I hold valid and current boat insurance which, to the best of my knowledge and belief, adequately covers me for third party claims (minimum liability cover - £3 million) at all times – whilst sailing or on West Kirby Sailing Club premises.
