OSU AGED Lesson Plan Format

I. IDENTIFICATION A. INSTRUCTOR: B. UNIT TOPIC: C. LESSON TITLE: D. CLASS: DATE BEST TAUGHT

II. OBJECTIVES (3 to 5; at least 1 HOTS objective; reference at least 1 related Oklahoma PASS) A. The student shall be able to: 1. List behavior expected , condition, and level of performance

III. TEACHING MATERIALS AND RESOURCES A. List each of the items you will use in teaching the lesson -- books, cards, equipment, demonstration materials, overheads and other visual aids, handouts, etc.

IV. TEACHING PROCEDURE A. Preparation - Introduction of what will be done to get the students ready to learn. Must include the following:

1. Overview - outline of what the lesson is about (post, list, or somehow mention/describe objectives of today's lesson). 2. Link - to what the students already know (previous lessons, SAEs, personal experiences, etc.) 3. Motivation - stimulate student interest (value of lesson, arouse curiosity, occupational opportunities, etc.)

B. Presentation - of the new information and concepts being taught
