We all can sometimes lose our way. We set a goal, we have a dream, we work for some purpose. Yet, along our path we are hit with oppositions and distractions, and we can easily become confused and sidetracked.

These quotes are to help you stay on track, to help keep you on your way to achieving your goals.

They have been compiled over a four year period, and were specifically selected to help doctors deal with situations that we knew they were up against. These particular quotes were picked to help doctors, and often their staffs, re-invigorate their purposes, spark their ambitions and compassions, and to help give them greater perspective on what actions they should take next towards success.

We hope they will do the same for you.

Directions: Read one per day. Select it, read it, think about how it applies to the office and your life. Read it at a daily staff meeting in the morning, or at a weekly meeting. Select your daily quote in order, or review them all until one seems "jump" out at you and seems to apply a bit more than the others.

ON COMMUNICATING CHIROPRACTIC: “Potentially every sick person is demanding Chiropractic, calling for it, needing it, crying for it, actually shouting for it, but doesn’t know it. Why isn’t he or she GETTING IT? Because HE doesn’t know that it’s CHIROPRACTIC he needs. We haven’t told HIM. We haven’t sold HIM Chiropractic. The sick world has sold itself to US but WE haven’t sold OURSELVES to them.” ~ BJ Palmer – 1920

Leadership is not magnetic personality - that can just as well be a glib tongue. It is not “making friends and influencing people” - that is flattery. Leadership is lifting a person’s vision to higher sights, the raising of a person’s performance to a higher standard, the building of a personality beyond its normal limitations. ~ Peter Drucker

He was told by the local chiropractic community that the area was already overrun with chiropractors and there were not enough potential patients to support another practice. For the next four months, Piazza spent 10 hours a day going door-to-door and introducing himself as a new chiropractic doctor in town. He knocked on 12,500 doors, spoke to 6,500 people and invited them to come to his future open house. As a result of his perseverance and commitment, during his first month in practice, he saw 233 new patients and earned a record income for that time of $72,000 in one month!” ~ A Third Serving of Chicken Soup for the Soul by Jack Canfield and Mark Victor Hansen

Anyway… “People can be unreasonable, illogical and self-centered. Love them anyway. If you do good, people will accuse you of selfish, ulterior motives. Do good anyway. If you are successful, you will win false friends and true enemies. Succeed anyway. The good you do today will be forgotten tomorrow. Do good anyway. Honesty and frankness make you vulnerable. Be honest and frank anyway. The biggest person with the biggest ideas can be shot down by the smallest person with the smallest mind. Think big anyway. What you spend years building may be destroyed overnight. Build anyway. People really need help but may attack if you help them. Help them anyway. Give the world the best you have and you might get kicked in the teeth. Give the world the best you’ve got anyway.” ~ Author Unknown
